Self-Driving cars self-driving cars should be subsidized by the government. Self-driving cars should be subsidized for several reasons. My first reason is that handicap people will have more freedom and they will be able to be more independent. They won't need someone to drive them around everywhere they need to go. Having self-driving cars will help handicap people get around easier. Instead of relying on public transportation or assistance from others to get around, handicap individuals can get around on their own with a self-driving car. Handicap individuals will be able to live a better life without having to rely on others .
My second reason is that having self-driving cars can save lives. The military can use self-driving cars for dangerous missions. Objectives that involves a human being driving in
Self driving cars participate in a behavior called platooning. It will improve traffic conditions, then we would be able to get around without worrying about much traffic. For Self-driving cars to function correctly and efficiently they need to communicate with each other, helping to locate traffic problems and dangers on the road early on. Sensors in the self-driving cars allow vehicles to drive on the road closer together without any accidents therefore eliminating traffic. Self driving cars are so smart, they can drive around and pick people up and just drop them off. Sebastian Thrun once said " Self-driving cars will enable car-sharing even in spread-out suburbs. A car will come to you just when you need it. And when you are done with it, the car will just drive away, so you won't even have to look for parking". Think about how much easier things would be if we had self-driving cars. All the advanced sensors on the car will avoid any traffic and if the majority of the cars on the road are self-driving cars, then we wouldn't have to worry about any kind of
