Reference to self-assessment score, the least scoring fall in directive style, with this style I think to work more effective in directive style in adjusting to working with different kind of styles and situations. The manager in directive style is instructional that work by telling staff what they expected to complete the goal, in how business in their daily tasks. The problem in this style is they do not work well in their business. In order to get work done effective way; first, I need to calculate how much time I need to work and plan the tasks that need to follow to reach the goal. The first part of self assessing me was pretty important because it was a sum of my whole lifestyle in one. Giving me an overall look on what I should change or if I should even change any of my habits. My smoking score was a perfect 10, which was not surprising at all to me. My alcohol/drug score for this was seven points because I do drink. The score for my eating and exercising habits were perfect because I do a good job when it comes to eating right and working out on a daily. My stress control score was an eight, but I do understand why. I do know that I stress to some extent. My last score was safety and the score for that was a nine. I think my life is pretty amazing if you ask me.…

I grew up in a single parent household, which in my case the single parent who raised me was my mother. Growing up with my mother rather than father or both my parent definitely had a great impact on how I personally and psychologically defined myself. My mother taught me “lady like” behaviors from a very young age. I remember my first experience being when I was four years old and I was sitting outside on my step and remember wearing a “girly dress” with flowers and in different shades of pink and purple. I was sitting outside and my mother joined me and said to me “ that is not how young ladies sit, cross your legs”. I was simply sitting what for me was normal, but now I was introduced to the…

I have done them also in my personal life. I have found some in magazines on relationships, for example. What I find is very key is to be as honest with the self-assessment as possible. If you just try to answer the way someone wants you to, it will come back to bite you later one. It won't be the real you. Self-assessments can be a very good tool for yoru life in general. They can help with all sorts of issues and situations. They teach, as well, on all different subject matters.…

The difficulty with most timed writings is that most people feel they don't have the time to get their thoughts in order. In a short period of time one has to develop an outline, and a thesis, or main idea before the writing begins. If the essay is to be productive, one needs to have some idea where one is heading with the essay. Although it may only take a few minutes to organize your thoughts, you still have to remember the clock is ticking. Timed writings are going to continue to be a part of my academic reality, so learning to deal with them comfortably is important. This self-evaluation portfolio introduces my timed essays and different writing styles. In PE1 there were several questions that needed to be addressed, but overall the essay evaluated why dishonesty and fraud are serious problems within the scientific and medical communities? In PE2 I had to evaluate a statement in regards to scientific discovery. There are several reasons why both essays needed self-evaluation, and one reason was to look at my areas of strength.…
