This is the case particularly for children. Children and youth are victimized three times more than adults in every category such as rape and physical abuse. Every five minutes a child or youth is arrested for a violent crime. Many studies have concluded that several factors increase the violent behavior in children, those factors are environment, habits of thought, family influences and the most obvious one the media.
