From the article I have read about the SECI model can be applied from my understanding that the SECI model is the process of knowledge creation has been to understand the nature of the knowledge creation and manage the process efficiently Nonaka proposed the SECI model. The spiral of knowledge which has been involved in the model are the areas where explicit and tacit knowledge interact with each other through a continuous process. The process thus leads to the creation of new knowledge. The central idea of the model is that the knowledge which has been held by the individuals can be shared with the other individuals which will help to interconnect with the new knowledge. The spiral of knowledge is the amount of knowledge which grows as more of the levels interact with each other in the given model. The various parts of the SECI model are socialization, externalization, combination and internalization. Socialization is the sharing of knowledge by the face to face communication or by the method of shared experience. The informal social intercourse will be the teaching through practical information. The example of such is apprenticeship. The other part is known as externalization which is the conversion of the tacit knowledge to explicit knowledge by developing various concepts and models. The externalized source and theoretical knowledge is the base for creating new knowledge. The combination is the method of the compilation of the external, explicit knowledge of the broader entities and also the concept systems. The knowledge in the explicit form will be combined with the knowledge that has been documented earlier. This is the phase where the knowledge will be analyzed and organized. The internalization is the understanding of the explicit knowledge. This will

Lewis auditions the singers, only to find that none of them can sing. Lewis decides that the opera will be done in English. During a lunch break, Lewis listens to a radio interview that Nick gives about the moratorium. “They’ll want the war to end, they’ll want changes in our society, they’ll want to overthrow the establishment.” Doug continues to ask Lewis personal questions and then reveals the story of burning his mother’s cats. Cherry flirts with Lewis and feeds him a sandwich. Doug suddenly appears and yells there’s a “fire in the dunnies.” Cherry “throttles him”.…

    1. In ‘Hello, welcome to our drought’, Leunig is trying to make clear that we should not crush our individual reality; more so we should accept and embrace in our differences. Leunig expresses this by linking a new born foal with “a spectacular birthmark” with such “freshness and beauty” to the words “artificial appearances”. Leunig discusses the truth about the regulations we must abide by to be ‘accepted’ in our groups. Leunig represents this theme through a drought that ‘shrivels eggs’ and holds a sense of ‘brokenness’. By referring to the birth of a unique foal as a fresh bud bursting in the drought, it is basically symbolising true beauty, because our world today is much like a drought; dry and empty.…

The play ‘Cosi’ composed by Louis Nowra and set in Melbourne during the early 1970’s allows the audience to reflect on what it mean to be an Australian in the era and in modern times. Through the eyes of the protagonist, Lewis and his conflicting relationships with the mental patients he meets while directing the play ‘Cosi Fan Tutte’ and his own personal relationships, the audience examines the notion of inner growth in young people as they navigate their way into adulthood. The audience is also forced to look at the opposing views of love and fidelity as represented by Lewis and the minor characters. Through the use of the backdrop of the Vietnam Way and the turmoil of 1970’s, the audience is also asked to reflect on Australia’s changing identity through the treatment of the mentally ill and the tension caused by the war in Vietnam. This is most clearly highlighted through symbolic use of lighting and set design and emotive language.…

Louis Nowra’s screenplay ‘Cosi’ explores the attitudes to and perception of the mentally ill in 1971. During this period Australia is at war and undergoing social reform. The perception of mental patients in the 70s can be seen as unethical and inhumane, with society grouping them with animals and locking them away in asylums with barbaric conditions. The 70s saw mental illness being neglected and kept in the dark and with movies that depict ‘mad’ people as animals; a negative connotation is placed upon these people. Nowra attempts to shed light on the issue and change our attitude by drawing sympathy for them through his play ‘Cosi’.…

One of the main themes of Cosi is the question of love and fidelity. This is shown in Act 1 Scene Two when Doug, who hates women, says: " Women like to pretend they dont play around but theyre just more secretive about it." Cherry and Ruth are very negative about sex, stating that most women work hard to keep men out of their pants. Julie thinks that love is "being foolish and stupid". Also the play that Lewis is directing, Cosi Fan tutte is all about love and fidelity. Lewis is also questioning the love and fidelity of his girlfriend as she is critical of love and of his work with the mental patients.…
