Second, local businesses are often feeling the pinch of the economy as hard as individuals. They understand that people need help and will donate products to be sold in exchange for tax donation credit. These donations could either be sold or used within the program; either raising money by their sale or saving the program money, respectively. Three years ago my friend Amy and I were looking for a way to bring customers into Behm’s Sawdust City while helping the community. After about a month of throwing ideas around Amy came across an advertisement for Toys for Tots, and we decided that this would be a great way to bring people in and help the community. Little did we know that it would be a huge success! Every year we have had to become more organized. The first time we get together we decide on what band we are going to try and book and where we are going to ask for donations. Next we split up and go to different businesses and individuals that have donated in the past or may want to donate this year. Finally we advertise for the dance and start looking for volunteers to help.…

Walking into a fast food joint, one expects to be met by a sweet aroma of the delicious foods that are quite appealing. Considering they are supposed to serve customers as fast as they can while at the same time maintaining quality service. Upon entering a fast food restaurant, one would expect to have a view of the whole place in a glance, with counters just around the bend for customers to make their purchase. Burger King is the fast food restaurant I visited a few days ago, and fortunately did not disappoint my expectations; rather, I was surprised by their smooth, fast service and tasty foods as well as the restaurant itself.…
