The table no. 1.2 shows that out of 60 nurses working in the Sahid Memorial Hospital 38.6% works in the ICU department whereas 29.5% are from emergency ,31.8% from general ward 6.7% are from cabin and 20% of the nurses works in the Post Op Ward.

The table no 1.3 describes the 90.3% of the nurses have not taken the training regarding the management of the organophosphate poisoning and only 1.7% has taken the training .

The table no . 2.1 shows that the majority of the nurses responded that ingestion of chemical substances as the OP poisoning which was 96.7% and minority of them responded that it is the injection of acid which was 1.7% similarly responded as the injestion of herbal agent which was also 1.7%

The table 2.2 shows that the majority of the nurses responded metacid as a type of poisoin which was 90% whresras the minority of the nurses responded carbonmonooxide as the type of poisoin which was 3.3%

The table no 2.3 shows that the majority of the nurses responded suicidal purpose as the common causes of consuming organophosphate poisoning which was 30% whereas the minoriry of the nurses responded as threatening cause as well as accidental which was 5%.
