This is where you decide whether your hypothesis was correct or not. You discover this by the results of the analysis. While writing your conclusion, it is important to remember that your hypothesis does not always have to be correct. Also, if you do not come to a valid conclusion, you may repeat the steps to the scientific method and try again. These five steps to the sociological scientific method can help to unravel the answers to many social issues we ask ourselves. After defining the problem, reviewing the literature, developing a hypothesis, analyzing, you may finally conclude your experiment. The scientific method is a huge aid in effectively and efficiently discovering the answers to any social or nonsocial issues and problems. Without the scientific method, one cannot assure a legitimate, true conclusion or answer. The scientific method guarantees unbiased and consistent steps to lead to the

The scientific method can be defined simply as a series of steps. There are five steps to the scientific method that are used. These steps consist of making an observation, proposing a hypothesis, accepting or rejecting the hypothesis, and revising it as if it had been rejected; or draw conclusions as if it had been accepted. Every theory will not use all of the steps each and every time. While testing these theories, scientists should always keep an open mind simply because with science the outcomes of the results are unknown (Trefil, (2010).…

To question one must make an attempt to explain the observation that was made. The next step in the scientific method is making a hypothesis. A hypothesis is made to predict a solution and an outcome. The fourth step in the scientific method is making a prediction. When making a prediction you are indicating the outcome. Next is the conclusion. The conclusion details the findings of the testing. This then leads to the final step which is the results. The results are whether your findings based on the hypothesis…

The scientific method is a way for someone to gather new knowledge about something – whether it is an object, apparatus, etc – and to put that new knowledge together in an orderly way. According to Conceptual Integrated Science, Galileo and the English philosopher Francis Bacon came up with the scientific method in the 17th century as a tool to be used by people to practice science. The scientific method includes six steps: (1) Observe (2) Question (3) Hypothesize (4) Predict (5) Test Predictions (6) Draw a conclusion.
