The average life span of captive marine mammals compared to free marine mammals. Reports of abuse of captive marine mammals.

Hypothesis

If a marine mammal is held in captivity, then its health will decline.

Procedure
(4 Points)

1. Find and tag a marine mammal to study in its natural habitat.
2. Weekly, have the mammal’s health checked by a veterinarian, recording all of the mammal’s health readings. Do this for a period of four weeks.
4. Record the animals behavior and mood weekly. Do this for a period of four weeks.
5. Take the same mammal and place it into captivity.
6. Weekly, have the mammal’s health checked by a veterinarian, recording all of the mammal’s health readings. Do this for a period of four weeks.
7.Record the animals behavior and mood weekly. Do this for a period of four weeks.
8. Compare your findings.

Analysis

Provide a chart or table comparing the health readings of the mammal in captivity to it in the wild, week by week.
