One way science is involved in football is the aerodynamics of the ball. The aerodynamics of the ball affects the flight and accuracy when it’s thrown in the air. If footballs weren’t made in a certain way it would wobble in the air instead of having a tight spiral. Footballs are made with two bullet-like ends. The two ends of the ball allow it to travel in a spiral motion in because it interacts less with the air which makes the air go around the tip instead of the entire ball.
