Science Exhibition Held at Coimbatore

In commemoration of the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Swami Shivananda School conducted a district level inter school science exhibition on 20-1-2011 and 21-1-2011 at the premises of the English Medium section. On 20-1-2011, Rev. Swami Atmaramanandaji,The Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore, inaugurated the exhibition at 9.30 a.m. 55 Schools from Coimbatore and Tirupur participated in the Exhibition. The total number of exhibits was 153 (123 from outside and 30 from Vidyalaya). Parents and students from the near by schools visited the exhibition. The total number of visitors was 2064. On 21-01-2011 judges from SRKV College of Arts and science and College of Education and from various Higher Secondary Schools selected the prize winning exhibits.
