I have been working at McDonald’s for two years. I have recently been promoted to a swift manager. At the moment I am crew trainer, I help/teach new crew members how we do a successful job at McDonalds as teammates. Everyone has different job tasks, as do I. It’s important to be flexible in this job area, meaning knowing how to do multiple areas is always best because no one wants to get stick with someone who doesn’t know ,how to take a order or make a simple sandwich. Some job tasks would be knowing how to take a order on the headset while making a smoothie at the same time , or making a complex sandwich order by first knowing what’s on the sandwich in the first place so then you can know what to take off and what to keep, beside on the customer’s order. Another would be when fwith a customer compliant, how to be nice about the situation even when it’s not your fault. Having to make a stock list to stock the front counter area for the next swifts.
