School: United States and Oman

Even though the culture is different in Oman and in the US, there are some similarities in school between them. Each country has its own system of education, but sometimes there is something similar between them. For instance, the subject and classes. Therefore, there are some similarities at the system between these two countries. I will mention some of it.                 One important similarity is subject. Both Oman and the United states have similarities in subjects. Oman has a lot of subjects like math, science, and social studies. Likewise, in the United States the students study the same subject in high school. In addition, in my country we are required to study foreign language, which is English, during our education. IN comparison, the United States also requires the study of foreign languages. In general, the subject and study second language are the same in Oman and US.                 Another similarity between Oman and the United states is the classes. Because we have different culture, men and women are separate classes. However, the averages of students in each class are similar in Oman and United states. Each class has from 20 to 25 students. Similarly, the classes have white board. In addition, some classes in Oman make a group to study. Likewise, the United States make groups. In short, classes have a lot of similarities in my country and US in many ways.                 Finally, school hours. In Oman in high school they start at 7:30 and finish at 2:00. Compared to the United States schedule, they have the same. In addition, in the United States they have five minutes break between classes. During that time students relax and prepare for the next class. Moreover, the lunch time in Oman and the United states is 30 minutes and most of the time at the middle of day schedule.
