A general tenet which guides my faith is the reality that being a person of faith means I am called to do difficult work. As human beings we engage imperfectly in this world and as a result experience conflict; as a person of faith I am called to do the often difficult work of forgiveness, when possible and appropriate…

Being “great” like many other adjectives used to describe an individual is a subjective term. That means that great for one individual might not be great for another. This is similar to how successful for me would be to take care of my mother and father, while success for another would be to make a six figure salary a year. For me, being “great” is doing just that little bit more that separates you from the competition. A quote that I am reminded of is by Art Williams that says “The difference between average and ordinary is so small that it’s scary”. I wholeheartedly believe that he is write in saying this. A person can be successful at 99% of the things that they do in their lives and still not be great. However,…

I am choosing that free will exists in our world. I think that I make my own choices every day, but I know that God definitely helps me along the way. Every day I wake up, and I make a decision, should I go back to sleep, lie here looking at the walls, or should I get out of bed and go to class? My story takes place before I was a teenager; I would have to flashback twenty years. What is faith? Is it belief in one’s God? How does one find faith? Can someone that claims to have faith ever doubt? When I was twelve years old, I thought that I was religious. I went to a function with my youth group. In attendance were a great number of kids, I felt lost in the shuffle with so many things going on.…

Our faith is the key to please God, so our relationship with the Lord is reliant on it .Faith in God was gifted to us, but it is our choice to continue having faith or not. Having faith in God will help us to solve our problems and the things we need to continue our everyday life. Our wishes and dreams will be based on the faith we give, though even if it is as little as an ant, it will be granted but only if the wish you want was good and for the sake of all.
