Introduction: The Taj Mahal should be preserved because it is a testament to love, it also embodied the power of Shah Jahan himself while he was alive. Bart wrote the article “How to Save the Taj Mahal” By Jeffrey Bartholet so he can persuade us into preserving the Taj Mahal.
BP1: To Begin With in Bart’s article he writes that Mehta is trying to save the Taj Mahal, one reason why we should preserve the Taj Mahal is that factories are being forced out because they are causing pollution, and the evidence for this reason is that “Small Industries in Agra, moved out, shut down, or forced to install cleaner technology.” (pg.115) “In 1996 twelve years after he filed the motion, the court ruled in his favor, and the foundries around Agra were closed, relocated or as was the case with then refinery compelled to switch to natural gas. (pg.115) the reason for why we can preserve the Taj Mahal now that the factories have moved out was that the government helped Mehta, the government was on his side.
BP2: To Continue in Bart’s article he also writes that some people don’t want to save the Taj Mahal, but we must fight for what is right and that is to try to save the Taj Mahal for future generations. One reason Into why we can still preserve the Taj Mahal is that The Monument gives glory to the city and the city gives glory to the monument, and the evidence for this reason is that “ It Was created by fusing so many Architectural Traditions”.(pg.112) part of the Taj Mahal’s beauty derives from the story the stones embody. Through a tomb for the dead, it is also a monument to love, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. The reason for why we can preserve the Taj Mahal now that it is being built again, and again is that the government is helping make it look cleaner, so that way we can preserve it.
Conclusion: In Conclusion, I Think that the Taj Mahal can be preserved because it is a testament to love, it also embodied the power of Shah Jahan himself while he was alive. The Main Idea of BP1 is about how now that the factories have been moved out we can preserve the Taj Mahal and also how the government is on Mehta’s side into trying to preserve the Taj Mahal.(115) The Main Idea of BP2 is about how the Taj Mahal was created and how it can stay there for future generations and how it would be a good deed, and a good thing for India, and for Shah Jahan. If I were Shah Jahan and some people were letting the Taj Mahal deteriorate , I would feel very sad that I have spent 15 years of my life building this monument( tomb) for my favorite wife and to remember her. My recommendation is for us to TAKE ACTION NOW!!! If we don’t , if he were alive Shah Jahan would be very sad, and disappointed in India and in Mehta, ( pg.112) but he can’t blame Mehta he tried as hard as he could into preserving the TAJ MAHAL!!!!!!

Starting at the base of the Taj Mahal all sis elements of visual design, line, space, light and color, texture, pattern, and time and motion are all present. The Taj Mahal was completed in 1648 C.E. after 22 years of construction by Muslim Emperor Shan Jahan and master architect Ustad Isa.
