Savagery Vs Evil
All humans have natural instincts to do whatever it takes to survive. William Golding investigates the theme that evil is stronger than good and innocence and intelligence are no match for evil. A group of boys are stranded on a island, despite their efforts to be organized, they turn savage. In Lord of the Flies the masks, the hunters’ dance, the pig and the rocks. Fistly, overtime civilization on the island has decreased. Secondly, throughout the story the savagery has been over taking the boys. Furthermore, throughout the analysis of these symbols, we see how savagery is overtaking civility.
