1. Executive Summary

Saturation Inc is a new venture that caters to smart and fashion conscious male office workers in metropolitan cities in NZ. We aim to provide bespoke clothing, shirts to begin with, in a range of available fabrics, specifically tailored to the customer based on their measurements.

It is a popular belief that men do not generally like buying clothes and tend to know what they want before venturing into retail outlets. If the requirement is for a white shirt then the decision has already been made and all that remains is to find a retail store that sells white shirts and make a purchase.

We intend to create a website that showcases shirts and ties together to help men expand their wardrobe with shirts that look good but more importantly are fitted to the body shape of the customer.

Office based roles are the only roles that have increased in the last 40 years in NZ, an estimated 49% of the workforce. Taking into account the unemployment rate of 6% and assuming 50% of the workforce are male, we have a potential target market of 2’111’500 potential shirt wearers!

The business will be setup and run as a Limited Liability Company with 2 shareholders.

One of the two core elements that I feel is a personal area of strength is positive regard. According to Wikipedia, an individual that has positive regard of others has, “blanket acceptance and support of a person regardless of what the person says or does.” To me, this means being someone that is non-judgmental and someone that truly looks at a person’s inner being, not just what the outside shell may look like. A client’s personal growth can be influenced greatly by his or her counselor’s positive…

Saturation of landfill In the densely populated city of Hong Kong, where land resources are rare, waste is a troublesome issue. According to the Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department(EDP) Hong Kong is running out of landfill space far earlier than expected, and the existing landfills will be filled up, one by one, in mid to late 2010s if waste levels continue to increase at current levels.) Unless solutions are identified immediately, we could face a crisis in the next decade of having…
