Satire Essay On Planned Parenthood
Anna, I get that you are frustrated with the responses, but try to see it from "our" side. We're not pissed that women didn't vote for Hillary just because she's a woman. We're pissed that instead of this woman, this woman that has dedicated her entire life to public service, emails and all, didn't get elected over an excuse for a man that is CURRENTLY in a rape trial against a 13-year old girl. A "man" that said on live TV that you can grab women by their pussys when you're rich/famous--do anything you want with them, which is what your vote continued to allow him to do. A "man" who has publicly bragged that he would go into the dressing rooms whenever he wanted on Miss teen USA, girls 15-17, because "he owned it" and he could do whatever …show more content…
The American people, and I have no problem handing over my tax dollars so millions of women can get the health screenings and resources they need at Planned Parenthood to stay healthy. That families in need, single mothers, can collect well fare should and when they need it. That the disabled can get supported by America, not mocked and made fun of by their president. That LGBT can get married and share their lives with the one they love no matter what gender, because that's what they deserve as an American citizen. That black, Latino, indian, Asian, Mexican, whatever race will and should be treated as an equal in this country. That a woman who is told by her doctor that she is going to have a still born baby, can make the decision she needs with her family to terminate the pregnancy safety and on her terms. That young adult women who want to climb the corporate ladder before they start a family can have that option. I don't know what to tell you Anna, I'm sorry you don't agree that I'm truly mortified that this "man" was elected president, and I'm happy for you that this is the best president "financially" for you and your family and you're comfortable raising a daughter in a country where her president rapes little girls and gets away with it but I'm not and I never will

Bringing Up Baby was created in 1938 and is considered by many to define the screwball comedy genre. It was directed by the extremely versatile Howard Hawks and was written by Dudley Nichols and Hagar Wilde. This fast-paced film involves the unlikely relationship between its stars, Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn. Its fame stems from many causes, one being perhaps the best chemistry ever caught on screen between a leading man and woman. According to Jonathan R. Perry of the Tyler Morning Telegraph it's "The gold standard of screwball comedy."…

I agree with you, I am also against abortions. Yet I think that clinics such as Planned Parenthood are always labeled as abortion clinics when in reality they also help with many other reproductive issues. I have heard horrible stories about Planned Parenthood but at the same time I know of many people that got help from them in getting regular check ups and such things that could potentially save their life. I wouldn't exactly consider working for Planned Parenthood but in some ways I am not completely against it.…

Recently, cigarettes have been getting a bad rap. No one seems to understand that the real problem at hand is not the negative effects of smoking cigarettes, but those who abstain from smoking cigarettes. These people are nothing but a nuisance, a lousy bunch of no-gooders that just want to ruin your fun. In fact, smoking cigarettes is an activity that the entire population can benefit from. The world relies on the production and consumption of tobacco, and there are many positives of smoking that outweigh the negatives. For example, smokers dedicate a large portion of their life buying packs upon packs of cigarettes, which in turn gives a huge profit to the country. Surely if you consider yourself a patriot, you would take up smoking cigarettes. These non-smokers are the exact opposite, and will remind you of the risks of cancer and other diseases from smoking; but no one truly wants to live forever, and if you smoke, you won’t have to. You will also most likely notice how unpopular and unattractive these non-smokers are compared to those who smoke. It’s a well known fact that smoking makes people look better, as it gives people a rebellious, non-conformist persona. So, taking everything into account, you should smoke because it increases the wealth of the economy, it helps end an otherwise meaningless life, and you’ll look cool doing it.…

Homelessness has been an issue of much dispute throughout time, regardless of whether it is in present day Portland, Maine or in the ancient city of Rome, Italy. People have been trying to aid the wanderers for a very long time, but clearly, have never found a good solution to the problem. People are sick and tired of walking out of their door in the morning and finding a vagrant, still reeking of alcohol which they purchased with a good Samaritan’s donation, on their stoop. The people fortunate enough to have a home and a good job should not have to suffer when they walk down the street past hobos begging for a few dollars. It is not fair that the wealthy have to interact with the dregs of society on a daily basis. This problem has to be dealt with. That is why I propose that our society is in much need of the program, Clean Up The Streets (CUTS). The program resolves many different aspects of the issue . If the homeless are sent to landfills to collect cardboard and other material in which they can build their own houses with, this gets them out of sight of the wealthy. In addition to removing the homeless from our lives, it also aids the environment. With this new program, hobos are given a job in which they remove materials from landfills which they can then use to build shelters with. Yearly, Americans throw away 30.9 tons of good food; this will make wasteful people feel as if they are actually helping people when they throw away unappreciated food. This also means that there will be plenty of food for the newly housed and employed people. Also, about $1 billion dollars worth of medicine is thrown out each year, so illness will be quelled as well. The new CUTS program is flawless; it resolves the issues of…

Everyone has an opinion about what is too short, what is too long, what is too low, what is too high, what is too tight, and what is too loose. Planned Parenthood is using your money to murder millions of babies every year even if you don’t agree with it. Human lives are being eliminated, aborted baby body parts are being sold to researchers, and abortion is being used as birth control. These things are abomidable. Which out of these services, only three percent were from providing abortions. The majority of Planned Parenthood funding helps with testing and treating sexually transmitted diseases and infections, and the other main use of funding goes to providing contraception to those who are sexually active (Robertson). Henceforth comes the question, if the majority of Planned Parenthood services don’t provide abortions, then why is there such an immense outrage against this health care provider? Another point of interest is that Planned Parenthood cannot legally use the federal government’s funding to pay for abortions. (Robertson) If this is the case, then the outraged protestors should not be worried about the government spending all of its income to just throw away for an abortion. There are several more beneficial aspects from Planned Parenthood, but these are just a summary of the main…

Why do we breathe? To stay alive of course. The main substance that we benefit from breathing is oxygen which is necessary for the body, the heart, the brain and the blood. Without enough oxygen, we don't live long, hence the reason behind breathing! In general, everyone has a pet peeve, some people get irritated by wearing underwear; others get bothered by taking a shower; and, many other strange irritating quirks that may seem absolutely normal to one person but be extremely infuriating to someone else. You know what irritates me?! Get ready for this.. Nothing irritates me more than people who breathe loudly, as if they just ran a 15 kilometer marathon. Breathing is not a difficult process, all you need to do is inhale and exhale oxygen again and again. It's not algebra; it's breathing! So why in the name of God do people have to breathe so loud? Like seriously!…

Abortion is defined as the termination of a pregnancy and the expulsion of an embryo or of a fetus that is incapable of survival [4]. This definition seems to be blunt and to the point, yet the subject of abortion is quite the complex one. There are many people who feel strongly about it and fall on either side of the issue. The problem is it is not as simple as right or wrong, black and white, good and bad. There is a massive gray area when you talk about life and death, and much open to interpretation. Those who denounce abortion claim it is murder of a life, which has not yet had the chance to live. Those who do not disagree with abortion maintain that a woman has the right to choose because in the end it is her body. So where do we draw the line between murder and a medical necessity, humane and inhumane? Should every situation be treated under a blanket statement, or are there some exceptions, even in the eyes of those “pro-lifers”? Does the…
