Satire Essay On Obama
ALL HAIL KING OBAMA

It is hard to ignore the problems in Washington when everyone is talking about them. From the corrupt democrats to the right wing extremist republicans, everyone seems to have a problem with the people that are in government seats in Washington. The speaker of the house seems to be getting a lot of the attention recently, being called a number of derogatory statements. Yes it seems everyone has a problem with the government of these United States. Still however the most talk seems to come from those against the very president Barrack Obama. Everyone claims that he is an inefficient leader that he is a socialist; some even go so far as to say that he is Americas Hitler. There are so many people claiming injustices against him that they don’t have time to think of proposed solutions to the problem. Everyone is complaining that he is the cause of

One is sure to work and I will propose that one now. That is to make Obama officially king and give him complete control over the United States. This sounds ludicrous at first but further thinking about it is genius. If Obama has complete control over America then nobody could talk bad about him because they would have to answer to Obama. This would also eliminate the need for a congress or a senate so the naysayers couldn’t complain about them either. Also this would give Obama the power to enact every idea he has about the well-being of this nation so all of the Obama supporters will be happy and they wont have to argue with the people against him. Also Obama will have to power to dispose of all those against him which he will inevitably do. This will also give him the power to officially make us a socialistic, Islamic nation which will obviously be good for us since he has basically done it already and we are in such good shape

The Daily Show is a source of controversy when its affect on democracy is analyzed. Some critics, like Roderick P. Hart and E. Johanna Hartelius who wrote “The Political Sins of Jon Stewart”, believe that Jon Stewart and his use of cynicism are harmful to Democracy. Conversely, Robert Harriman who wrote “In Defense of Jon Stewart” concedes that Jon Stewart is a cynic “for [the purpose] of coming to the key point of judgment” (274) although he considers Jon Stewart a helpful defender of democracy rather than a harmful offender. Similarly, Lisa Colletta the author of “Political Satire and Postmodern Irony in the Age of Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart” feels that satire, rather than cynicism, which she believes is the form of rhetoric that Jon Stewart uses, is beneficial to democracy. In all, through an analysis of Roderick P. Hart and E. Johanna Hartelius’ “The Political Sins of Jon Stewart”, Robert Harriman’s “In Defense of Jon Stewart”, and Lisa Colletta’s “Political Satire and Postmodern Irony in the Age of Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart” I feel that Jon Stewart’s use of satire on The Daily Show is constructive for democracy.…

Abstract: The concept that public approval of the President increases during times of international crisis is known as the Rally around the Flag phenomenon. Divided government lessens the President’s accountability, by allowing the president to pass blame to the majority party in the legislative branch. The President attains higher levels of approval from rallies during divided government due to three factors. First, there are higher levels of opposition party criticisms prior to a crisis. Secondly, media outlets disproportionably cover opposition party elites statements supporting the President. Lastly, opposition party statements in support of the President are a very powerful influence on the public.…

Many people were left with terminal injuries and plenty were left dead. In December of 2015 “...a married Pakistani couple, stormed a San Bernardino County government building with combat gear and rifles and opened fire on about 80 employees enjoying an office Christmas party. They killed 14 after pledging loyalty to ISIS. A third Muslim was charged with helping buy weapons.”(Sperry) Outlandish citizens do not piece together the deaths and Obama, but if they had the vigilance, they would come to the consensus that this is on him. This is only one example of the terrorist attacks that happened each year under Obama.…

Anna, I get that you are frustrated with the responses, but try to see it from "our" side. We're not pissed that women didn't vote for Hillary just because she's a woman. We're pissed that instead of this woman, this woman that has dedicated her entire life to public service, emails and all, didn't get elected over an excuse for a man that is CURRENTLY in a rape trial against a 13-year old girl. A "man" that said on live TV that you can grab women by their pussys when you're rich/famous--do anything you want with them, which is what your vote continued to allow him to do. A "man" who has publicly bragged that he would go into the dressing rooms whenever he wanted on Miss teen USA, girls 15-17, because "he owned it" and he could do whatever…

Where have all of America’s jobs gone? If we grant a lot of illegal immigrants jobs and protection from deportation, it will only lead other immigrants to think it is OK to come into the country illegally, while also applying for jobs that Americans need and could be doing. Because of this there are U.S. shortages such as low income housing, low skilled jobs and low medical care. This is why America should not let in any more illegal immigrants.…

    Satire Essay On Abortion

When I was about seven years old, I heard my aunt, a gynecologist, speaking on the phone with one of her patient’s husbands’ who wanted his wife to abort their baby. My aunt absolutely refused and commanded that he stop calling her. At the time, I didn’t really comprehend the story or what was happening, but I never forgot that moment. As I grew older, I understood why my aunt was so rigid about her decision. Abortion has been a huge issue not only in today’s society, but probably dating back to earlier times. It is the slaughtering of innocent lives with approval from the government. This is exactly why this dilemma should grab the attention of everyone, because It doesn’t just affect a specific age group it affects everyone and it is a…
