Christian Worldview Integration is essential to one’s life in general and therefore, this Christian Worldview is important to life coaching. But, it is with caution that a coach introduces the Christian aspect into the coaching sessions. Life Coaching is about the client and their needs, not, the coach’s personal beliefs, but, as a Christian it is necessary if possible to consider the client’s whole life, including their religious belief system. There are also times when a coach will be confronted with a Christian, that is losing faith or question their faith, this is also a difficult situation. It is important to develop a…

The Biblical Worldview begins with God and can be known through His creation of and revelation to humankind.(Weider & Gutierrez, 2011, p.69) This revelation of God can be described as general revelation or special revelation. General Revelation is known by humans by two methods. The two methods are natural and the creation of men and women in His image. (Weider & Gutierrez, 2011, p.70) General revelation is limited in its scope because of the fall; now humans are separated from God and were limited from their natural ability to know and have that relationship with God. Special revelation is when God makes known vital truths which cannot be known through general revelation. (Weider & Gutierrez, 2011, p. 72) Special revelation is where God reveals himself to us. An example of this is that He spoke to men in dreams and visions (Gen 20, 28). The most significant method of God’s special revelation to humanity is in the Incarnation of the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 1:14). There are five questions that one must be able to answer to identify their worldview.…

We drink from Our Own Wells by Gustavo Gutiérrez describes that when we walk in spirituality, it is according to the spirit of love and life. Drinking from one’s well is a spiritual experience, the Christians in Latin America were learning how to be followers of Christ, they needed to walk with and be committed to the poor. Following Jesus is oriented to the horizon of resurrection, definitive life. “It talks about the journey that we have to walk according to the Spirit.”…

Doubts about my salvation beginning at the age of seven: Growing up in the church, I heard Gospel invitations frequently, and I began to doubt whether or not I truly believed the Gospel or if I had simply prayed a prayer. I started to pray for salvation on a regular basis, but I never truly had peace about my standing with God. In time, this uncertainty led to spiritual stagnation, and because I did not effectively address my uncertainty early on, it continued to haunt me for many years.…
