My Life
General Purpose- To inform
Specific Purpose- To inform the audience about my life
Thesis Statement- To inform the audience about my life by explaining my love for Clemson football, my love for my iPhone, and my habit of dipping tobacco.
I. INTRODUCTION
A. I brought this nifty McDonalds bag with me today, as its will reveal to you a little bit about my life. We all have things that we like or love in life. It doesn’t really matter if it’s something big, or small, as long as it makes you happy.
B. Today I am going to tell you about the three things that are in the bag, and how they fit into my life.
II. BODY
A. Clemson football
i. Clemson football is a very big part of my life. My dad gets season tickets every year to all the Clemson home games, so we usually end up going to most all of them. I think my first time going to a game was around the age of six, so I have been going my entire life. ii. I of course was at the Georgia game this weekend. If you didn’t get to see it, it was a great game, as the tigers prevailed 38-35. I got there around 3:30p.m to tailgate and “get ready for the game”. That is one thing I love is the pregame festivities. iii. As you are probably starting to see, I am somewhat of what you’d call a diehard fan. No, I don’t have an orange car or anything, but I do keep up with them a good bit. I get on tigernet.com to keep up with what the teams doing and recruiting. I’ve had to chill out from letting my emotions get the best of me during the game. Back in the day when I was 15 or so, a tiger win or loss would make or break my week. Needless to say I am a happy guy this week.
B. My iPhone
i. My iPhone is very important to me, I go nowhere without it. I’m always on It fiddling around, getting on the internet reading things, and getting on social media networks ( yes, I have a Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) ii. It is pretty convenient for listening to music which

One of my most memorable high school experiences took place in a football stadium an hour away from home in the middle of a corn field. It was my Junior year, a Friday night in the middle of October, and in true Ohio fashion, it was raining and barely above freezing. Members of the Spirit Spartans that year convinced my friends and I to attend. The game was incredible; it was back and forth all four quarters and all tied up with thirty seconds left in the game. With the clock running down, a Turpin receiver made a diving one-handed catch in the endzone to win the game. The stands went crazy and that excitement lasted all season, as the Spartans were undefeated in the regular season and lost only to future state champions in the tournament. I wholeheartedly believe that a vital part to the team's success was the student encouragement at games. As an athlete myself, a crowd of spirited classmates at a game can really ignite the team.…

The atmosphere of the stadium was like nothing I’ve been a part of before. Half of the ballpark was in shock and the other half was in awe. The sense of excitement for the Florida team was overwhelming because this is the moment that I realized that all the hardwork that you do in the offseason and during the season, can actually pay off in the end. As I watched the dog pile on the pitcher's mound, I stood next to my brother and parents while wearing the bucket hat that I bought earlier that day. Everyone else is wearing the color of the team that they want to win. Baseball enthusiasts from all over the country were packed into the stadium like sardines in a can. LSU’s student section hanged their heads in disappointment while Florida’s student section was running into the field so that they could experience this special moment with the players. Florida won the college baseball World Series.…

It all started out when I had made the 2016-2017 Cheer Squad. That day one of the best days of my freshman year. Quite the experience came out of being a cheerleader, for example, friday nights, state football, wrestling tournament, and state wrestling. I would have to say that state football was my favorite because I mean the Plainville Cardinals were going to state. They had so much success last year, I was so lucky to receive that experience or any of these.…

My interest in studying Events Management started to develop in my early years of adolescence due to my interest in music, dance and other different events that bring many different people from different backgrounds and similar interests together. Since it does not interest me to be on stage, I want to be involved in the work that is in charge of the planning of the event. Another thing that made me want to take this course was the involvement in charity events and different festivals. As I have been in an International School most of my life, I enjoy and need to interact with people from different cultures which has helped me to acknowledge all the different customs and traditions in the different cultures. When I started the International Baccalaureate system, one of my courses that I chose was Business & Management whilst learning about Management this made me realized that I was capable and also wanted to pursue my knowledge in a similar course of management, such as Events Management.…
