I am emailing you in regards to the email I received about my eligibility to take the TEAS, and apply for the nursing program. I am a very proactive student when it comes to my education, therefore I use my campus resources often to help me better obtain my goals. My grades, professors, tutors, and peers can contest to my determination and hard work.
I often see my advisor throughout the semester/year to recalibrate my academic goals and revise my plan, if need be. During my meetings with my advisor we frequently talked about my hopes of becoming a nurse, and what I need to do to gain admission into the nursing program at Malcolm X.
In the course of our one meeting I was told by my advisor that I could take the TEAS exam twice within each enrollment period. Therefore, in the spring of 2017 I took the TEAS test twice in hopes of reaching the needed 65%, unfortunately I fell short by two points—receiving a 63.3%. I did not fret though because I was told I could take it again next time enrollment began. Which I am now finding out is incorrect information, leaving me in a situation that I wouldn't be in if I was advised correctly.

Although as a student I am doing my part the people who are suppose to help, guide, and mentor me are not reciprocating that same privilege to me. On November 3, 2017 I received an email informing me that I may take the TEAS exam, and most do so by December 1, 2017. I quickly took action and went to register for the next available dates (before the deadline) which are November 10 and 17, 2017. Again, I bought two testing dates because I was told I could take it twice within the new enrollment period. But now on November 7, 2017, three days before the exam date I am being emailed saying I may not be permitted again to take the TEAS for a third time, it will be upon the desecration of the
