Chapter 1: Introduction
Background of the study Inventory system is critical to gathering and applying information effectively in today's competitive markets. Automation of one’s inventory system puts you a step ahead in the game. It helps you conduct business transactions with ease as you only have to press a few keys. It liberates you from countless paper works as computation of the day’s sale and keeping track of inventory are done automatically.
Statement of Objectives
The objective of this system is to lessen the effort handled by each personnel of the company and improve the sales transaction.
General Objectives
An Inventory system provides businesses with the ability to computerize systematize and collect retail information. Where cash registers, including complex register systems, have limited information collection capacity, inventory and sales systems can gather, store and return detailed reports on inventory trends and customer information. Additionally, Inventory systems more easily integrate with numerous sales and ordering systems.

Significance of the study
This section will provide brief description on the various significances of the study given.
To students. The proposed study serves the students as their reference or guide in creating their program. It will also help students taking computer related courses to identify the best programming language to use.
To businessmen. The proposed study will help them achieved to have a better and exact profit by the use of the system.
Scope and Limitation of the study
The limitations of sales are different for many companies that their teams have to ensure that they do not have any trouble with. This is to ensure that the company is to be as successful as possible and that they are not to encounter any problems.
