In this essay I am going to be looking at Andrew’s case study and evaluating the extent in which Andrew is at risk and in what way practitioners and agencies should be involved in safeguarding Andrew.
There are several types of abuse, in Andrew’s case there are three main types which are bullying, physical abuse and self-neglect. Bullying is when someone behaves in a certain way to hurt someone else, such as, calling someone names, hitting, pushing, and threatening them. Bullying can have a major impact on someone’s health, Andrew is being threatened by text messages and online, this will have an impact on his life as he has some learning difficulties this bullying can make him worse.
