To attend to the London portfolio, Media 10 have partnered with the best in the business, Connection Crew. The award winning crewing company employs people who have been homeless and its crew supports the events industry to set-up smoothly, safely and successfully. In the last 10 years Connection Crew has employed 157 ex-homeless people to complete 81,801 hours of work.
In 2012, the organisation launched the Connection CSR Account with the objective of officially recognising the social impact clients generate by employing the organisation’s services. Media 10’s partnership with the organisation has generated not only jobs, but has helped to change lives in the process. The great performance is the result of a pragmatic approach to recruitment and training: every new ex-homeless employee at Connection Crew attends a 10 weeks training programme at the Connection Crew Academy to assess whether crewing is suitable for them.
