Media 10 is recognised with top CSR account from award winning Connection Crew for contributing toward employment among ex-homeless people.

With 23 live events and over 1 million adults attending our shows in the UK, Media 10 understand and highly value the work of its crews. It is an essential part of running successful, high standard events that provide visitors with an outstanding experience.
To attend to the London portfolio, Media 10 have partnered with the best in the business, Connection Crew. The award winning crewing company employs people who have been homeless and its crew supports the events industry to set-up smoothly, safely and successfully. In the last 10 years Connection Crew has employed 157 ex-homeless people to complete 81,801 hours of work.
In 2012, the organisation launched the Connection CSR Account with the objective of officially recognising the social impact clients generate by employing the organisation’s services. Media 10’s partnership with the organisation has generated not only jobs, but has helped to change lives in the process. Being recognised with a CSR Account Certificate is a formal acknowledgment by the organisation which takes regulated data to measure clients’ individual contributions toward the employment of ex-homeless people.

The great performance is the result of a pragmatic approach to recruitment and training: every new ex-homeless employee at Connection Crew attends a 10 weeks training programme at the Connection Crew Academy to assess whether crewing is suitable for them. This preparation has granted exceptional results with every ex-homeless in the last ten years that has left Connection Crew continuing on to other employment or education, and not a single one has returned to
