STEM Biomedical Emphasis
The SMR Scholars Program is a great fit for many, especially, myself. The Scholars Program offers challenging courses, which intrigues me. The program also encompasses rigor, which is another asset to the courses. This program also had an amazing course that interests me for many reasons. That course is the STEM Biomedical Emphasis; this course entails the crime scene forensics that suits my idea for a future career, and teaches me how the body works, at the same time.

With the course including crime scene forensics, it helps with my ideal career which would be a Forensic Scientist. I have always been intrigued by collecting and analyzing data, as well as criminal

    To be competitive, and in order to be successful, in the field of forensic science, you must come into the job well equipped. It would require a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science at the very minimum to become a forensic science technician.
