When I think about consulting prior to this class I had a little knowledge about it I have more insight now after I started reading Flawless Consulting by Peter Block who seemed to have a great sense of humor in the first chapters. I only knew the concept of consultant on my experiences as a fashion consultant which I think it is totally different from what I am going to learn from this course. However I think there is similarities to them for instance, they both require a high level of communication with clients, the art of giving your opinion and ideas on the situations at hand, you work hard to show evidence of success that your work actually paid off, you do your best to make your clients happy and you got the ability to understand client’s expectation and match them and that leads to also the ability to match the deadlines. Theses are crucial skill for consulting firms or consultants in general I think.…

Intelligence and technical knowledge will only take you so far in your work and private lives. My goal is to introduce you to behavior in organization (and of organizations) in a way that stresses you personal behavioral skill development.
