Executive Summary
This report will explain the role of human resources management in the new corporate strategy at unitel by comparing its current function with the previous functions, the influence of changed environment on the functions of HRM, the relationship between employees and human resources management, the factors that drivers various approaches of HRM. Furthermore, this report will illustrate the need for a strategic approach to HRM issues through comparing the strategic directions in china with the strategic direction in Australian with the changes in the dynamic environment. In addition, this report will state the key issues relating to the new corporate strategy at Unitel, explain the reason of the needs related to Unitel situation by describing the process that the changes of dynamic environment creating challenges and how the challenge to change the culture. The needs of HRM intervention will be explained linked with the key issues.Moreover, this report will suggest the solutions to the Unitel challenge with an example of other business.Then this report will explain how the changes at SHRM level needs HRM practices to improve and give recommendations about how HRM achieve Unitel’s competitive advantages combine with various personnel skills, knowledge. At the end of report, The conclusion will combine the all contents of this report with solution to the problem and illustrate how important for today’s HRM to manage the challenges, developing strategies developing human capital and arranging human resources pools.
