Running In The Halls Research Paper
Hello dreadful students, your continuance to skip school, eat in class and run in the halls will NOT DO! I’m your new high school principal. I’m planning to help make this school a better place since I’ve heard many horrible things about the students of this school and their dreadful behaviors, so I made several new rules you must follow if you want to stay alive.
If you skip school, your feet will be brutally and painfully chopped off, or maybe we’ll burn you alive whenever you come back to school. Another option is running over you with a school bus while you’re taped to the road, maybe which will teach you the consequences of skipping rather than attending school. We have axes in the principal’s office just in case we need to chop your feet off very painfully! I can use my flamethrower to burn you alive, to show you how serious I am about this. I also think running you over with a school bus will be the greatest way for you to get the common sense to not skip school again.
There is food all over the floors of a lot of classes, so I decided

If a teacher or I see you running in the halls, I break your legs with a sledgehammer, and if you want to see your legs in a collection of the legs from my previous students, I’ll chop your legs off while I listen to your screams of pain. If you refuse to get your feet broken/chopped off, I’ll force you to walk upside down with your hands until you graduate.
So what I’ve just said are the rules you must follow if you don’t want to see me rage. I made the rules to see the school improve and make sure you students don’t misbehave. Remember, if you refuse to follow any of these rules, you will receive a very dark and painful death. I will try to make our school the best high school ever. Thank you for listening and I hope you see me as your new favorite

Barefoot running is beneficial because it reduces joint forces.1, 2 This reduction is a function of several changes that occur when running barefoot. A study of 11 healthy runners (6 men and 5 women) was conducted where subjects ran at their preferred stride length.3 Stride length and kinetic measurements were taken for the frontal, sagittal, and transverse planes. The study concluded that an overall reduction in preferred stride length occurred when subjects ran barefoot.3 The reduced stride length resulted in much smaller hip, knee, and ankle moments in the frontal plane.3…

As a runner, I consistently suffer the “typical” pains in my knee, the arch of my foot, and my achilles tendon. I have tried pronation- fixing shoes for my knees, arch-supporting orthotics, and heel-cushioned shoes for my achilles. These superfluous attempts at eliminating pain only created more problems. Could these very things - cushioned, bulky shoes - designed to maximize running performance be hampering our running and causing excessive injuries? Many runners, professional and ametuer, have arrived at this conclusion and have begun running barefoot. Many believe that clunky, padded shoes make runners strike on the heel, which sends a massive shockwave of force up the leg and is absorbed by the knee and hip joints, which causes injury. Barefoot runners are more inclined to strike on the ball of the foot, which creates rotational energy of the foot and sends much less shock up the leg. Shoes…

Time plays a crucial role and is the central figure of individual’s life. In “Run Lola Run” time is an important motif continuously portrayed throughout the film. The opening of the film displays a gothic-looking clock ticking away its demonic second hand, another demon on its main face displaying the significance of time in an individual’s life, in particularly Lola’s. The film commences with a low angle shot, as the camera plunges into the mouth of the demon on the face of the clock, warning the audience that the characters within it will be swallowed up by time. In this scene, the audience is introduced with the non-diegetic sound of a ticking clock. The fast-forward technique is put in motion continuously throughout the film to remind the…

I know that sometimes people can be physically or mentally hurt from scratches to being called nasty names and would greatly like to make an effort to help or even stop any of these situations. So I will try my very best to stop bullying, littering, fights, stealing and any other bad happenings. I will happily attend any meetings, special events, camps or any other kinds of event. I will stride to follow all school characteristics, Honesty, Responsibility, Consideration, Co-operation and Respect and of coarse follow all school rules. I will also gladly listen to everyone’s ideas and try my best to enforce them. As there are new students constantly coming to this school throughout the year I know that they can be shy and uncertain about things or simply don’t know where things are so I would gladly greet and show them around the school to ensure that they never get lost and can make plenty of friends.I will also happily be anyone’s friend, whether they are new or old to this school. There are few improvements I would like to make to this wonderful school such as adding at least one water trough to the oval, placing more rubbish bins around the school, making the after school sheltered waiting area, near the after school care, bigger for when it rains and plant more tree, flowers or bushes around the school. I would also like to make some…

In regards to the letter, I was actually surprised to see that you felt that the students complaints need to die down because it is “disrupting the learning environment” and that you felt as if your given rules and meticulous expectations should be “peacefully obeyed.” In a structured system such as the system our school is currently run under, “rebelling” is extremely crucial and has become an essential to running a productive system. Nevertheless, I am not encouraging hostile acts in order…
