Ruby Tuesday is a franchise that’s all over the world. The mission statement is simple fresh American dining. In the vision is to provide great value to their guests and great working environment for team members so it can be reflecting core values of quality, passion, and pride in everything the company does. The company had to adopted this code of business conduct and ethics as amended, the code the purpose of which is to confirm RTI’s commitment to conduct. Now if you fail to follow the guidelines outlined in the code of conduct result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of your employment. These is exactly what Chris and Erica would need to do for their company. In it stated, Ruby Tuesday; the purpose of code of conduct to provide basic principle to which financial professionals required to adhere and to advocate; and ensure compliance with legal requirements. An ethical conduct contains written morals to prevent misconduct within the workplace. encourages employees to promote honest and ethical conduct both personally and professionally. It is important to stay compliant with both government laws and Ruby Tuesday’s guidelines. There are many significant keys important to the success at Ruby Tuesday, some that stand out are: preventing harassment and discrimination and confidentiality. Ruby Tuesday is a casual dining restaurant that me and my family visit. but I tend to take a long time ordering my food due to indecisiveness. The things that I noticed to be Ruby Tuesday’s strengths are the quality of customer service they offer and the salad bar option. Although the restaurant is my second favorite because of the pricing on the food. Overall Ruby Tuesday decision to stand out by including the salad bar in casual dining was a great

Having this in the policy shows that the company does care for the rights and respect given to the people that are apart of their company. It provides employees to feel they are given fair treatment. Another key area is inside trading. It is against policy for an employee, officer, or director to profit from material that is nonpublic. Material can include unannounced sales or estimate of sales, unannounced changes in earnings estimates or actual earnings, and changes in management. Any employee, director, or officer withholding any information may not buy or sell any securities or exercise any options to buy securities until 48 hours after material information has been released publicly. With this being included in the policy it is important to establish trust between an employee and the employer. It shows significance to the business that they are all about honesty. They don’t allow information to be leaked early. If a sale was being given at a specific time well it wouldn’t be fair if anybody knew a couple days before or a week before.
