Rrotc Leadership Self Analysis

The leadership roles I have had the opportunity of serving in developed me into the leader I am today. After Matriculation I was a timid and indecisive leader. I questioned all my decisions and found it difficult to trust others. I looked for opportunities to blend in and not challenge myself as a leader. When I joined ROTC I still had some of the same reservations in my leadership abilities. I quickly became more decisive and confident once I was acclimated to the AFROTC culture and understood what was expected of me at Field Training. Once I graduated Field Training, I regained my confidence and decision making abilities. This, however, morphed into arrogance because I plateaued in developing myself as a leader.
