First Impression: The Big Cheese Italian Restaurant lives up to its name. When you first drive up, the parking spaces are tight and the area is very crapped. But once you are seated and begin your dining experience you forget about all the things that are not ideal and enjoy the delicious meals that comes at the right time. For starters, the boys wanted Calamari ($9.95), 12- Wings ($9.95) and the adults had Caesar Salad-Full Order ($9.95). We knew immediately that we were in trouble with the amount of food that was placed on the table in front of us. The Calamari was fresh and not chewy according to the boys, it didn’t last long enough for the adults to taste. The Caesar Salad was absolutely phenomenal. The full size serving feed all three adults and the boys. The lettuce was nice and crisp, the hint of anchovy was just enough to have the essence hit the taste buds with just the right amount of bite. The cracked pepper gave it the right amount of spice and the dressing was sufficient to cover without drowning out the croutons. The addition of red onions to the salad enhanced the overall taste of the salad and we had a hard time stopping.…

Benito Mussolini established a dictatorship in 1926, 3 years after forming the National Fascist Party. His goal back then was to destroy any political opposition against him and to create a powerful totalitarian state. In Mussolini’s time in politics, he searched for many ways to empower the state because of his fascist beliefs of nationalism. Italians followed his orders because they believed in him and the cult of personality; they believed the Duce was always right. He created new regulations for the National Organization for the Protection of Mother’s and Children on December 10, 1925 (1). Shortly after, in 1927, Mussolini added on to them and introduced a number of policies to increase reproduction in Italy. His Fascist Italy’s population program called for an increase in birth rates and overall population; however, this was later met with opposition from the poor and women, causing Mussolini’s policy to dissipate and end in failure.…

Lastly, the services at the Olive Garden grab my attention. As soon as the guests walked through the door we heard, “welcome to Olive Garden”. They usually escort you to your table and asked for the drink order. The drinks and food is taken in an appropriate manner. The server seemed very well-informed of the menu and very respectful as well. He had a great attitude that makes people feel comfortable with them.
