The defendant arrived at the same table and buy $100.00 in $1.00 brown roulette chips in using a $500.00 gambling chip. On the video the unidentified subject is seen placing twenty roulette chips into his pants pockets on four different occasions. The defendant and the unidentified male are setting next to each other while the pocketing of chips occurs.

The unidentified subject cashes out the remaining chips and leaves the table. The co-offender takes the seat emptied by the unidentified subject next to the defendant. He buys in for $500.00 and request $25.00 purple roulette chips. The male subject is observed entering a nearby bathroom. Shortly afterwards, the co-defendant wins $200.00 and then leaves the table along with his chips and enters the same bathroom.

When the co-offender returns to the table, he wins $850.00. On the next bet, he places his chips on top of the ones placed by the defendant. This caused the dealer to become distracted and allowed the co-offender to remove the purple chips he acquired from the unknown male subject. The video captured the co-offender reintroducing roulette chip nine different times. The co-offender cashed out $2,400.00. The defendant and the co-offender were taken into custody by the hotel’s security and held until they were released to the custody of Gaming Control

Defendant Carl Clay entered the partially open door of a motel room around five o’clock pm with the intent to steal a television to replace his broken one. To convict Clay as guilty of burglary, he must meet the stipulations stated in the General Laws chapter 228 numbers one and two. The first law defines burglary as the breaking and entering of a dwelling at nighttime with the intent to commit a felony. The second law defines a felony as the theft of personal property over the value of $500; theft of personal property less than $500 is classified as a misdemeanor. We know Clay was in the motel room around five pm with the intent to steal the TV, as he was caught trying to walk out with it in his hands. We also know Clay did not leave the motel’s property with the TV. For Clay to be found guilty, it has to be proven that the crime occurred at nighttime, whether or not he broke in, if the motel is a considered a dwelling, and if the TV’s cost is based on the retail price or current market value.…

Owen Weimaraner stole the diamonds of the table. This is a fact because, if everyone had left the table in the same motion, nothing would’ve been knocked off the table in his spot. Owen’s seat had his napkin and spoon knocked off the table. Also, his chair wasn’t fully pushed over like the others. This shows that Owen Weimaraner stood up slowly, grabbed his diamonds, and knocked his napkin and spoon off the table in the process. Next, if someone else were to steal the diamonds, Owen could’ve sued them for taking the diamonds and gotten a lot of money. Owen knew this and it is exactly why he stole his own diamonds. He could accuse one of the people sitting with him for taking the diamonds and he would’ve gotten some money. This shows that he…

Yes, a victim can sue his/or her offender, after the rape has occurred the victim can proceed civilly, even if there were no criminal charges filed. Brody, et al., (2008) it is helpful if criminal charges were filed because convictions for criminal cases make it much easier to predetermine liability in civil cases. In other words, if there is a guilty verdict, then there is no need to litigate liability for a civil case because the civil burden of proof is lower than the criminal burden. Brody, et al., (2008)…

In my opinion, if Blackford did not ban from the casino, and he wanted to collect his winnings, that means there is indeed a contract between the casino and him, and in this case, casino has to pay. However, since he has already been banned from the casino before he gambled, which means that there is no contract exist; thus, the casino did not need to pay for his winnings because he should not even be in the casino and gamble at there.…
