My Bedchamber
There are many rooms in a house. The bedroom is the most important room in a house. There are several reasons for why I consider the bedroom the most important one, among which relaxing, good memory and privacy are the most obvious ones. Although many places provide us with mental stability and a sense of comfort, we all have a favorite place. I will explain them below in detail.
My room is my one and only domain where I can study, watch films and television, listen to music, talk on the phone, etc. My room is painted dark green and light green; also, most of the furniture in my room is white. As someone enters my room, the first thing you can notice is that I have another room inside my room, well when you enter you can see another door on the other side of the room. Opposite of that, you can see my full size bed which has navy blue covers. Then in the other side of the other room, a black LCD television resided on a little desk which I enjoy watching my movies and playing in the computer. Right next to it I have a beanbag chair with pillow around it, and that’s where I usually I relax, read, and study. Then I have a huge closet where I have all my clothes well organize and in the down drawers my personal belongings. My room is my absolute favorite room in the house.
My bedroom can provide me a place to relax. Every Moment I fell tired, I will go to my bedroom and lie on my bed, relaxing for a while. Without hesitation I lay on my bed, the stress of me will disappear and the feeling is so marvelous. What is more, sleeping is also good for you. As it is known to everybody sleeping is very important to people. Good sleep. So you can see the bedroom can supply me without a place to relax. How important the bedroom is to me.
The first reason I mentioned this above is probably the most important one, but good memory can also explain why I consider the bedroom is the most important room in a house. My bedroom is full of good memories during my growing

The physical setting of the room that the main character occupies has a great affect on her well being throughout the story. When the main character first walks into the room she states, "It was a nursery first, and then the playroom and gymnasium, I should judge, for the windows are barred for little children, and there are rings and things in the walls" (400), this shows us, the reader how the main character thought of her room in the sense that we can feel her emotions dropping in this sentence. Furthermore, we most certainly cannot leave out the wallpaper. This…

A large bay window peeked into the fresh lawn outside and right in the middle of it sat an immense lime beanbag. I would slump easily into it, after a never-ending day of impossible math, to read contently. Of course, the book came from one of the two towering walnut bookcases, glimmering reddish in the irregular rays of sunlight. The room nearly flew to the sky giving the image of an ancient roman cathedral with vaulted ceilings. To the left of the beanbag nook, the king, feather-filled bed protruded like a needle perpendicular to the beige wall. The soft mattress was caringly wrapped in teal and lavender floral sheets. Across the room from the bed, and next to the book shelves, a small but neatly-kept L-desk waited to be used when homework time started. My overly used laptop and practically ancient printer sat on the desk, quietly keeping each other company. The last of the four large walls in my rectangular room held the door to the rest of the house in one corner. My matching walnut armoire occupied the middle of this wall, silently watching and looming over me like a protective giant. On the wall on top of the armoire, my much-appreciated flat screen TV took its place like a prince taking his thrown to become king. This meant there was still an enormous space in the middle of the room. What would I put there? A square, orange and fuzzy rug sheathed the naked oak floor. An eclectic couch made of a mosaic sprinkling of quilts sat on top. Yes that would be the finishing touch……

Do you ever wonder why certain places mean so much to certain people? When I think of my bedroom, I realize why some people are so crazy about locking their doors and not letting anyone inside it and touch their stuff. My bedroom is the place where I can sit back and relax. It is the only place where I can get away from the world, away from the stressing college student life; a place away from work and rude customers, that even though no matter how nice you are to them, there’s always someone that finds the way to bring your mood down. A place when I can have my own privacy and be as comfortable as I want. Also, my room is where I keep my personal belongings and the things that are important to me and do not want anyone else to touch.…

    Room Description Essay

The mood(atmosphere) of the room is always relaxed. The rooms’ neutral colors of brown and beige do not brighten up the room but keep it calm. The walls are not hot pink and lime green anymore but a soft cream color. There are no more band posters or pictures hanging up. Therefore the walls are left naked and the once colorful room is no more and is now bare. The stereo in the corner no longer plays loud music. Now the sounds of soft piano and Mozart fill the room. In the center of the room lys a bed covered in blankets made of satin and pillows filled with feathers. This room has no new emotions and remains peaceful.…

The kitchen in my home represents memories of family meals, warmth, and togetherness. I remember coming home after school and smelling the mild aroma of Indian spices that my mother was cooking with and the tantalizing curry that she would make. The kitchen was a small, dimly lit room with bamboo flooring and wallpaper that did not match it at all. The pictures which hung on the ugly wallpaper were of my siblings and me, reminding me of my childhood. While the kitchen certainly contributed to the warmth and security of my house, my bedroom was where I felt the most secure.…

    Description of My Room

Well, there is not much to say about my small (7 m2) room. When you go in, first what is visible is a big window and the nice scenery outside with many trees and a kindergarten full of children during spring and summer. You could feel the calming atmosphere of this small space because of the light blue colour, that reminds of light blue sky , which is quite relaxing. On the ceiling there are phosphorescent stars and the moon , so at night it is even more psychodelic. There is a nice, white big table on the left which is coverd with dark blue (I would say even garnet) top, on which I put my laptop and xerox copies from the College. Under the table there is a small corner cupboard where I keep some old papers, which probably I will never read again… There is as well a stacking hi-fi which goes loud many times during a day. I also have garnet paper box when there are clean sheets of paper. There is also a desk lamp with pencils and pens put in (a special construction of the lamp allows that) Above the table there is a bookshelf mainly with books connected with yoga and healthy lifestyle as well as an English dictionary. In the left corner of the room there is a huge Pink Panther which is hanging from the walls in a funny posture. On the ledge (which is in front of the door) there is a small plant (I don’t know a name). On the right side of the room there is a a foldable bed plus shelves unit. It’s huge and white, but very handy in such a small room like this. On this piece, there are two ferns andone statue of Lao Tze – who was a famous Chinese philosopher. Above that bed there is a huge painting, hanging on the wall, in blue and white colours, with a woman from fantasy world – she looks like a beautiful elf. The floor is covered with nice woodblock and under the ledge lays a yoga mat and the blanket which I use for exercising my body, breath and mind. And this is all which I have in my small cosy room in Rubinkowo…

Furthermore, the reason why I loved my house so much is because I had my own room. As a child I had to share rooms with my sister in a 8 broom house filled with my family until my mother decided to move out. Then I got my own room which was the best thing that’s ever happened to me. My room had everything I needed! I did not leave my room unless it was time to get out of the house or time to eat. I over loved my room my computer was in there , my television, I had my own little refrigerator, to go along with that my mom surprised me one day, I came home and my walls were painted pink with pictures of me all over, my furniture was to die for, my air conditioner was never off, and the best thing of all is I had a lock on my door. My friends always wanted to come over its like my room was the chill spot. It was very welcoming, but I did not let everybody in my room simply because my mother always told me not to.…
