Ronald Wilson Reagan was the 40th President of The United States of America. He was known as the Teflon President. Ronald Wilson Reagan was born February 6, 1911. He was born in Tampico, Illinois. His mothers name was Nelle Wilson Reagan, a stay at home mom. His fathers name was Jhon Edward Reagan; he owned a local shoe store. He had one brother named Jhon Neil Reagan, was athletic and smart. His brother died very young. Reagan was married twice His first marriage was to Jane Wyman an actress, they were married from 1940-1948. His final marriage was to Nancy Davis, they were married on March 4, 1952. He had five children Maureen, Ron, Michael, Christine, and Patti. Reagan went to high school at Dixon High. He Graduated In 1928. He was on the Swimming team, Football team, and took Drama. He was athletic and did very well in school. When Reagan graduated in 1928 he started at Eureka College in the fall of 1928. He graduated in the year of 1932. He graduating from Eureka didn’t stop him from visiting there. He helped them with new programs and different stuff. Ronald had different hobbies/jobs. He liked acting so he became an actor. He played in several different movies. Reagan didn’t really like politics but he got in involved with them anyways. He was pushed by family to run for governor of California. He won the election and was governor for eight years. Shortly after he decided to run for president and he thought he had no chance but he ended up to be wrong he dominated the election in the first term against Jimmy Carter. Reagan also dominated the second term against Walter Mondale. Ronald Reagan had many accomplishments. He was one of the oldest presidents. Reagan was shot at and survived. People call him the Teflon president because all of the bad stuff that was supposed to happen to him just slid on by and didn’t bother him. Reagan also graduated
