When Mercutio who is Romeo's cousin is killed and dead by Tybalt who is Juliet’s cousin makes a huge impact on Romeo as now he seeks for revenge. He has nothing in his mind accept of killing Tybalt now as he cares about his cousin and want to take revenge for his cousin killing. Romeo killed Tybalt and his other cousin Benvolio persuades Romeo to leave the town (crime) place by saying, “Romeo, away, be gone! The citizens are up, and Tybalt slain. Stand not amaz'd: the prince will doom thee death if thou art taken: hence be gone, away! [Act III, sc. I, 132-135]. This line from the play shows that Tybalt is killed by Romeo. It also identifies that the same day, Romeo is marrying Juliet which means that if now Romeo is caught he will definitely be killed as well. This shows that Romeo made a dreadful choice of getting a revenge in a poor way, which will cause him many things such as he will leave his family, the town and his love Juliet. Furthermore, when Juliet finds out that Romeo has killed Tybalt and now she has to marry Paris in order to keep her family happy. She does not accept this proposal, as she already falls too much in love with Romeo as he make a poor choice by accepting a potion given by Friar Lawrence which would make her go to sleep for forty two hours as it will help him …show more content…
After Friar Lawrence helps Juliet to escape her marriage by giving her the potion so she can go to sleep for 42 hours so she can skip her marriage with Paris but when Romeo gets the news from his servant Balthasar which was different as he tell him that Juliet has passed away, Romeo didn’t wait for the letter that explains the whole story as he did not try to find out the truth fact. Romeo didn’t wait as he went to get the potion to kill himself, he goes to the Capulet’s vault where Juliet is lied. Romeo take the potion by saying, “Here’s to my love! [Drinks] O true apothecary, Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die. [Dies]” [Act V, sc. III, 119-120]. This explains that Romeo trust anyone in the town but not himself, he just thinks taking his life is the best choice to make after the love with Juliet. This shows the Romeo loves and his impulsiveness choices takes his own life without knowing the actual truth. For help, he didn’t seek Friar Lawrence who knows the truth. Similarly, Juliet’s performance is also very impulsive when she wakes up after drinking the potion. She wakes up in happiness knowing that she is now definitely going to be with Romeo forever but Romeo has killed himself thinking that Juliet is died. When Juliet wakes up she notices that Romeo has killed himself by drinking poison. Juliet goes with her emotions by saying, “Yea,
