Romeo And Juliet Impulsive Analysis

Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is a love story about two teenagers who fall in love, but their parents have an intense rivalry putting a dent into their relationship. Through many tragedies, the rivalry is put to an end with Romeo and Juliet dying. Although they both are impulsive, Romeo and Juliet differ in the way they view the topic of love and their closeness with family. Both Romeo and Juliet each have their fair share of impulsiveness. The scene that gives the best example of this is when Romeo and Juliet meet at the Capulet’s party and instantly fall in love at first sight. This leads to the part where Romeo says, “ For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night” (I.v.51). Before Romeo says that the reader already knows how lovesick he was over Rosaline, another Capulet girl. So it is obvious to see how easily he switched from chasing Rosaline to Juliet because he’s saying he’s never seen anyone as beautiful till now.
