The servers of Cheddar’s are always complemented with good behaviors. I have a friend that works as a host at cheddar’s and it is really important for her to greet anyone who comes to the restaurant. People always feel like they’re at home when they enter the restaurant with a bright smile. Also, if the restaurant isn’t busy the customers are seated right away and given their menus. If guests have to wait the servers offers them something like appetizers, and drinks. All these free give outs make costumers pleased even if they were waiting for a long time. All the waiters are hard working and care about their guests and what they need. They never miss or forget what their costumers want. The atmosphere at Applebee's was very pleasant and our waiter was friendly and accommodating. We counted seven courtesies (please, thank you, your welcome, may I help you, etc.) that he said to us. Unfortunately, we did overhear another waiter making unprofessional complains about their customer. Our waiter also told us that he had been in the service industry for nine years and had been working at Applebee’s for two years. He had the most…

Every time I go to this diner the service is the first thing I notice. Normally after walking through the door and finding a seat, a server is with us in just a minute or two. The server is right there for us, if we need anything. We find that the staff is fun to be around and they treat us like we are friends or family, joking, laughing, and having a good fun time. Since they are open throughout the night there can be some issues that arise because of crowds from the bars and clubs. Sometimes it can be a loud place and if there are a lot of people then we may have to wait for service because there is only one server. The crowds from the bars and clubs can get unruly at times and cause problems with other customers but the staff tries to keep it a calm and fun place.…

Franco Zeffirelli and Baz Luhrmann have both directed a film version of Romeo and Juliet very well, but a movie can not capture everything from the book. So, which movie portrayed the book better? There are aspects of both movies that portray the book better. For example, there could one movie could show the character's personality better than the other one or one movie can show the city of Verona better than the other movie did. Small details of a scene could make a scene in one movie a lot better than on the other. Even the smallest of things like the way the characters are dressed could impact the entire scene. In some scenes, the Baz Luhrmann movie portrayed the book better because of the small details…

Wisely and slow, they stumble that run fast” (Shakespeare 2.3.99). This quote by Friar Lawrence in William Shakespeare’s play, Romeo and Juliet, perfectly sums up two different types of relationships. One of which is represented by Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet, who run fast into their love even though their families have a seemingly unending feud. They attempt to keep their relationship secret, which causes complications and ultimately ends in their death that barriers their families feud. A similar, but slower, relationship, which is the second type, is formed as a friendship between Lennie and George, in Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, who are ranch hands that end up working on a farm in the Salinas Valley. They spend the majority of their lives together, George, small and smart, and Lennie, bigger but less intelligent, until trouble with a man on the ranch named Curley and his wife leads to George killing Lennie. When the two texts are compared, George and Lennie have a stronger relationship, because they always care for each other, they have trust, and their relationship is based off of friendship, while on the other hand Romeo and Juliet’s relationship is developed off of regretted actions, infatuation, and empty words.…

As soon as we walked through the door we heard, “how are you and welcome to the Olive Garden”. We were then taken to our table and asked what we wanted to drink. I got the fresh brewed ice tea. My friends just got the San Pellegrino water. Our drinks were received and the order was taken in a timely manner. The server was very knowledgeable of the menu and was very polite while taking our order. We were told our order would be put right in, and the salad and breadsticks were on their way. When the food arrived, our waitress let us know that the oversized plates were hot and to very careful. We began to eat. As we ate our meal the server came over twice to check on us and refilled our glasses. The server was very attentive and took very good care of us. The only problem with the service was that our check was a bit delayed getting over to the table, but it’s understandable considering how busy they were. The best part was getting the mints after paying the…

The play Romeo and Juliet has been around since it was written by William Shakespeare in 1595. The themes inferred in this play have stuck around, despite the social changes that society has went through. We watched three different movies on Romeo and Juliet, and each was set in a different time period (1968, 1996, and 2014). They had many things in common and many things different. Some of the things in common was that the Montague’s and Capulet's did not like each other at all. Also, another similarity is that Romeo and Juliet both die at the end. Although there was a little bit of difference in the way that they died, they still had the same concept of being each other’s true love and dying to be together. Another thing they had in common was that they speak the same language, which was proper English. Some of the differences that the movies had was they dressed differently in each movie. One of which that we watched was a play that was filmed in 2014 and 1968, where the clothing is set with an…
