The Role of the Youth in Establishing Unity in a
Diversified Multi-Cultural Society
Youth, or simply called teenagers, has an important role in our society because they represent our future. I am part of the youth, I am a teenager. Before I wrote this, I didn’t really care but now, I realized that our role is really important and we must cooperate for our future. Nowadays, we teenagers are more interested in other things that are useless to us as well as our nation. We chose to spend our time in the internet, playing video games or watching television instead of studying. Dreams? Some of us might not have one but most of us has but we don’t make any attempt to achieve it. We must change, we must motivate ourselves and we must be responsible because if we don’t, our future might not be a bright one. Adults tried to control us and we fought back but don’t you realize it? They are doing that for our own good so that we can have a good future so we must obey them and do what they want us to do. Us teenagers has a choice, and that choice is if we study hard or do nothing. The best choice is to study hard and reach the expectations of our parents. We must try our best and start achieving our dreams because no one gets successful in just a day or two, we must at least make an effort.
