“America's first rebel”... Roger Williams. This essay will be about the life of Roger Williams, and how he founded the providence which became Rhode Island, and came to what we call today, America. His strong religious beliefs may had made him unpopular, but that didn’t stop him from concurring the world with his strong beliefs. Some even say that he is the father of modernized liberty, due to being best known for his religious freedom.
