Rodolfo Vera Quizon, Sr., (July 25, 1928 – July 10, 2012), known by his screen names Dolphy and Pidol was a Filipinocomedian-actor. He is widely regarded as the country's "King of Comedy" for his comedic talent embodied by his long roster of works on stage, radio, television and movies.
It's been said that he who laughs last, laughs the loudest. Dolphy has had not just a colorful career but also have a colorful life. He taught a concept that has been inherent to his life and work, humility and resilience. He has shown that life is funny. Everything would be solved when there is happiness especially in your family and when your holding to God. He is an inspiration to all of us in the broadcast business with his humility and his talent. He is also a good model for all of us for he taught us many lessons from his movies and also from his life. Aside from his performances, he was also generous, sharing his blessings to help the poor ones. He showed us that laughter is the best medicine. Laughing takes away tension and stress, that’s why if you have a cheerful attitude it gives you the strength to face the challenges along your way. He is so humble even if the standard of his life is so luxurious. He never forgot where he came from. Dolphy is also a good father because even though he has lot of children, he can managed them all and sharing equal love for everyone. He was a well loved person that’s why many people were affected by his humor and easy laughter that came naturally. His ability to make people laugh was a gift. He was able to make people happy, hopeful and looking at the positive side of life. We have lot of lesson we can get from his life not because he was famous but because of his attitude. He was popular, well- known and successful, but he did not develop the attitude of being greed. The man who has an attitude of being humble, something that we must be learned. Many people admire his generosity, kindness and goodwill. It was easy to approach him, a man who had plenty of time for others. This is why, many people cried and got sad from his death.
I’ve learned a lot from his life. Being humble is one of a kind. We should respect others in order for us to be respected too. Being a father with lot of children is a big responsibility, but with hope and patience everything is in harmony. You should also be generous, an open handed person. Being loyal will gain many friends. Success doesn't come in a snap, you have to start somewhere and keep going. We should give our own sense of courage and self-confidence a shot. In other words, Dolphy was not just the country’s king of comedy, but he is also a good father and a great person to hold onto.

Was Hernando Cortez a good or evil man? This debate has been argued over the years and still is today. Those who say Cortez is an evil man seem to focus singularly on the actions that the great Spanish conquistador has inflicted upon the Aztecs and the surrounding Indians. Not once do they look at the reasons why he performed the actions that many say were horrible acts of violence and manslaughter. These accusations of greed and murder of the Aztecs, as well as his own against Cortez have been corrupted in order to give a false and savage image of this great Spanish man. Hernando Cortez was, in fact, a great man contrary to what most is taught to believe.…
