INTRODUCTION TO PERSONALITY
Robert A. Iger is the present Chairman as well as the Chief Executive Officer of the world’s largest media company,The Walt Disney ,which is one of the most reputed and respected brands in the global market. According to him, generating the best creative content possible; developing innovative ideas and utilizing the best available technology; and its expansion into new markets around the world (Petruso, 2015), are the three main fundamental pillars of strategic vision to be focused for the development of the company.
Mr. Iger was successful in acquiring Pixar (2006), Marvel (2009), and Lucasfilm (2012). He was also successful in the opening of Disney’s first theme park as well as the resort in Mainland China, Shanghai Disney Resort which is a remarkable achievement in the history of Disney. Mr. Iger with the help of new technologies and by the company’s creative content offerings across new and multiple platforms Disney became a powerful industry leader in the global market. (Petruso 2015).

Iger became the President of Walt Disney International, the business unit that looks after the Disney's international operations, as well as Chairman of the ABC Group. The change in the company called for a promotion for Iger; however, the insistence of the company was initially viewed with skepticism. Some colleagues thought that Iger will be removed from day-to-day authority at ABC, since ABC had been struggling. Iger managed to solve the negotiations that led Disney to acquire Marvel Entertainment and its associated assets for $4 billion. However, in 2014, Disney was able to regain over $4 billion at the box office through the Marvel movies.
