Robert Allen Zimmerman

Robert Allen Zimmerman, who is later known as Bob Dylan, was born in May 24, 1941 in Duluth, Minnesota to Abram and Beatty Zimmerman. Fun fact is that he shares his birthday with the american rapper G-Eazy, who was born May 24, 1989. Bob Dylan’s hometown is Hibbing, Minnesota and he was born into Judaism but then later converted to Christianity. He plays a wide variety of music such as folk, blues, rock, and country. He also uses different instruments such as the guitar, keyboards, harmonica, and most importantly, his vocals. He took up the guitar and the harmonica and decided that he really liked it.

He was enrolled at The University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts in 1959. He formed the Golden Chords as a freshman in high school.
