Rob Gronk: The Archetypes Of Warrior And Magician
Both of these images show the positive aspects of KWLM, but in many different ways. The image on the left is Rob Gronkowski, he shows the archetypes of Warrior and Magician. I believe Gronk's primary archetype is the warrior because he has a purpose to become better. He is restless always working harder and harder to achieve a goal. Once Gronk completes that goal he sets a new goal and continues working. Gronk never gives up and will not back down until he has completed everything he needs to do. While being restless, he is very disciplined and has mastered his body and mind. He knows when to be aggressive and when not to be on the field. Gronk's secondary archetype is the magician because he is developing concepts and strategies throughout …show more content…
The picture on the left shows a man smoking a cigarette, he shows the distorted archetypes of warrior and magician. I believe his primary distorted archetype is the warrior because the warrior is supposed to remove things within your life that's holding you back or hurting your body. He is being the opposite of a warrior and is letting things drastically affect his body and change his future. His second distorted archetype is the magician because he obviously doesn't fully comprehend how harmful cigarettes are to a humans body and how he is affected by it. He doesn't realize that he could die early because of smoking cigarettes, or that he could get some sort of disease in his system which would affect his chance of getting a job and living a good future. The picture on the right is Hitler, he shows the distorted archetypes of King and lover. I believe his primary distorted archetype is the king because although he did command his army with strength, he lead his army down the dark path of hatred. He commanded his army not to help others in need but to destroy everyone in his way. He harnessed his powers negatively by harassing others and hurting civilizations as a whole. Hitler's secondary distorted archetype is the lover because he isn't giving or helping others, but hurting and punishing others. The lover should be there in times of need to comfort others and make others happy. These were the four distorted archetypes shown through two terrible and horrific

    1. The three adjectives I would use to describe the Kaiser portrayed in this cartoon would be evil, defiant and powerful. The Kaiser’s sword, hat and cape and altogether his outfit give me the impression that he is a powerful figure. The cartoonist creates an evil impression of the Kaiser by the dark color the cartoonist uses for the Kaiser and also the skull on the flag that is located next to the Kaiser. Also the disapproving and snobbish look on the Kaiser’s face gives the impression that the Kaiser is defiant.…

However, he takes more than necessary and readily relinquishes it, proving that he is not stealing out of desperation but because he is evil. Based on collective unconscious our personalities fit into many different types, but are not developed individually, they are more inherited. Each of them characters fit the criteria of their archetype. In Hamlet, Hamlet is the hero because he tried to prove that his uncle killed his father, and dies trying to kill his uncle to get his revenge. This shows he sacrificed something to save Denmark of a drunken awful ruler. Horatio is the son because Hamlet asks him for help and he decides to help him, without him Hamlet would question his sanity. King Claudius is the shadow because he killed the true king Hamlets father is a bad ruler to Denmark, married his mother, and is a man incapable of remorse. In star wars, Luke is the hero because he sacrifices himself to destroy the Death Star and save the…

I, Ratonhaketon, son of Chieftain Kanensoto, am alive and still enjoying good health and hoping that this may find you all the same. I cannot recall how long it has been since I have seen you all and not a single day has gone by that I have not missed and wondered how you are all doing. I wish I could return home and see you all again, but I cannot as I found a new home and family in this land. Instead, I am embracing this opportunity of addressing you in what the pale ones call a letter as I am so eager to let you know of the many things I have learned in this strange, new world since my departure all those years ago. Machiavelli spoke of a balance between good and evil. "In actual fact, a prince may not have all of the admirable qualities listed, but it is necessary that he should seem to have them. Indeed I will venture to say that when you have them and exercise them all of the time, they are harmful to you; when you just seem to have them, they are useful. It is good to appear merciful, truthful, humane, sincere, and religious; it is good to be so in reality. But you must keep your mind so disposed that, in…
