A Decade Of Music The Roaring Twenties was an exciting time for America and was also known as the Golden Twenties. The reason for this is because many new things were happening and one of them was known as the Jazz Age. Although the Great Depression was a bad time in America for most people, the Jazz Age provided a way for people to cope or escape from their daily lives.
The Jazz Age was created by African-American musicians in New Orleans.
