Roaring Clouds
The Roaring Clouds
Roaring of clouds? Have you ever seen the monsoon clouds? They are the actual definition of roaring clouds, they are never in ease and peace - there is always a dragon with gushing fire hiding behind them and ironically these clouds lead to rain and cool breeze lowering the overall temperatures. Now the question arises - how an individual or a nation becomes a roaring cloud? Obviously when they realize the fact that there comes a limit for all their sufferings n they actually need revolution??? Ladies n gentleman I said REVOLUTION, revolution is the change of power or to rise against cruelty, and injustice! Social right for all the citizens of a state should be granted,
James Russell Lowell (a famous poet n critic of the times), eloquently stated:
Once to every man and nation
Comes the moment to decide,
In the strife of truth and falsehood,
For the good or evil side.

My dear fellows I speak as a son of suffering women, I speak for those whose land is being laid waste, whose homes are being destroyed, whose culture is being subverted. I speak for the poor of my country who are paying the double price of smashed hopes at home and death and corruption in Pakistan. I speak as a citizen of the world, for the world as it stands at the path we have taken. I speak as a Pakistani to the leaders of my own nation. The initiative in this war is ours. The great initiative to stop the suffering must be ours. The sufferings of unemployment, poverty, rising inflation, crime and terrorism has become the part and parcel of life of Pakistanis, almost everywhere. Youth is confused and scared about their glorious future; people are committing suicide due to rising inflation. Government seems to be helpless in providing relief to the people.
Problems are there and it will exist forever but what are the solution for all these problems and how Pakistanis could accommodate with these problems and led a stress free life.
I think this can only be possible when

My fellow Americans, we stand today on the brink of war, grieving both for ourselves and for the people in Afghanistan, who have been hurt longer than we have. Ten days ago, the World Trade Center was attacked by a group of extremists based in Afghanistan. Since then, we have shown the strength of our people, who have intercepted the aims of the terrorists to prevent visions of democracy and self-government on which this country stands.…

Oooo. Mr. Prime minister, allow us to summarize what the President of our country Afghanistan was meant to say: our neighboring Islamic country Pakistan not only have been selling us for fraction of what we're worth to other countries around the world for decades, but also have been killing us for centuries now. Hopefully it didn't surprise any one, because this is nothing new to Afghans in Afghanistan, our neighboring Islamic and non Islamic countries in the region, United States of America, United Nations, and to the rest of us around the world. Most of Pakistan's peaceful killings started when our other kind neighboring country Russia occupied us very secretly, without Pakistan or any other Islamic countries in the region were noticing.…

This is a resounding position and one that is imperative to listen to when she has seen firsthand what war and hate can do to a country and its people. In her book, I Am Malala, Malala (2013) explains the beginnings of her life and how it all led to her becoming an advocate and leader in the movement (p. 27-39). Malala (2013) goes on to talk about the violence she sees early on in her life from corrupt government officials and how her fellow countrymen would vote for stronger administrators if they had received a stronger education and could really understand what was occurring behind closed doors (p. 115; 149-151). Pakistan, just as other nations dealing with similar crises, succumbed to a power vacuum that allowed a terrorist regime, in this case, the Taliban, to take over (p.…

    My visit to Pakistan

As I sat in our tour bus looking at the unique, British buildings of Karachi, we suddenly passed by a huge group of well wishers, who showered us with rose petals. At first I did not think anything of it, but as I took a closer look I noticed that the signs being held read, "Anti-Terrorist". My initial feeling was fascinated, which quickly turned to pleasure. It was then when I discovered that the media had portrayed Pakistan in a totally wrong light. Pakistanis are the best people on earth. Then, it hit me with a big bang, we are against terrorism! And so are the Pakistanis. Being in Pakistan and knowing that we were obviously not welcomed, made me realize that I was in paradise and my days could be very entertaining. As a result, I learned that I should not take anything for granted.…

Since the birth of Pakistan every government has appealed for national unity. Pakistan has run into crisis after crises, each graver than the preceding and unity has eluded us despite all the fervent appeals made. There must be serious reasons why crises should exist in abundance and not unity. These reasons need to be examined. Our country has been threatened by two sorts of crises-a general one affecting the world, but particularly Asia; and the other casting its gloom over the sub-continent. There is an obvious connection between them. Of whatever sorts the crisis may be and whether simple or manifold, the situation has, to be understood properly. The world in which we live is moving towards a culmination, which might be a universal catastrophe. It will not be just another Dien Bien Phu. This is the difference between Dien Bien Phu and the present crisis, between 1954 and 1968. We arc on the edge of a precipice. Below lies the valley of death. Must we let ourselves fall into it consciously by marching ahead to disaster or should we not draw back? There is no alternative but to pull hack. This does not entail a loss of prestige. It only saves this beautiful world from senseless destruction. Pakistan is caught in a whirlwind. As we look back on the twenty years of our existence, we find a dangerous tendency for international and subcontinental problems to get fused together. To maintain the view that crisis is the order of the day, a natural phenomenon of this restless age, is pointless. The prevailing demoniacal trend requires to be reversed. Ours is not the only country caught in the vicious circle of crises. Many countries have been able to settle similar problems and move on with added strength to other matters. The strength to move forward comes from the resolution of basic internal issues. Unlike many…

There are many among the youth of our country who underestimate the beauty of Pakistan; they fail to see the treasures hidden under the cultural landscape and look at it condescendingly, comparing it to other countries with superficial “luxuries” to offer. Among the many things that are unwary of, they do not know that this wondrous land which is the sixth most populous country in the world, boasts the second largest Muslim (and Shi’ite Muslim) population, only after Indonesia. It has been listed as one of the next eleven economies identified by Goldman Sachs investment bank and is believed to have a high potential of becoming the world’s largest economies in the 21st century, Insha’ALLAH.…

It’s just been 64 years, not even a century since the birth of this nation, and it is already going through the worst stages of its existence. Having a national anthem and a flag to represent our country on the face of this earth….is that enough for us to be considered independent? Is that enough for YOU to think you belong to an independent country? Painful, as it sounds, but it’s true that Pakistan is NOT an independent state! It is buried deep under the heavy loans it has been taking over the years and proudly continues to take… the loans, I doubt, it can ever pay back. Every child that’s born in Pakistan each day, the one who doesn’t even know what money is, already has a fraction of debt on his head just because he/she is…

Despite all these overwhelming set of problems, I believe that the most important issue facing Pakistan since its creation and even its inception, one that has primarily been responsible for the division of the country into two diametrically opposed entities in 1971, and one that threatens to cease the existence of the Pakistani state as we know it today, is a social one – intolerance.…

Thousands of men, women and children have been killed by the terrorists in different countries and still this satanic activity is going on. In our dear country the greatest loss has been done by the terrorists. It seems that the terrorists are bent upon finishing this Islamic country. Bomb blasts, suicide attacks and firing by the terrorist is an every day matter. Though the morale of the Pakistanis is very high and the government of Pakistan is taking different measures to stop it, yet there is a lot feelings of lack of safety and dissatisfaction among the people…

Since the inception of the country, it has been made to pass through great difficulties. In the beginning it was the refugees, non-existent government machinery, then the 65 and 71 wars and the dismemberment and later the drought and floods. Recently the world community and even the nation itself had started to think that the great nation, the Pakistanis were growing senseless to their own state of distress. The earth shaking earth quake of 8th October, proved the mendacity (falsehood) of the idea.…
