Obesity is where someone has high amount of body fat inside their body. According to Wikipedia, it defines obesity as medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have a negative effect on health, leading to reduced life expectancy and increased health problems. Actually obesity has bad impact in our body that sometimes we can’t even feel the impact. It could be a silent killer as when we are too eager to eat everything in front of our eyes without knowing how much fats, calories and the ingredient of the foods that will eventually effecting our health condition.
Another definition for “ obesity is defined as having an excessive amount of body fat. Obesity is more than just a cosmetic concern, though. It increases your risk of diseases and health problems such as heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure. Being extremely obese means you are especially likely to have health problems related to your weight.” This definition comes from one of Mayo Clinic Staff. From the quote we can see that being obesity is a good thing as the effects of being obesity is bad and dangerous.
In addition, Wikipedia stated that, obesity is a leading preventable cause of death worldwide, with increasing rates in adults and children. Authorities view it as one of the most serious public health problems of the 21st century. Obesity is stigmatized in much of the modern world (particularly in the Western world), though it was widely seen as a symbol of wealth and fertility at other times in history, and still is in some parts of the world. In 2013, the American Medical Association classified obesity as a disease. According to the Wikipedia we can see how dangerous actually obesity is.
Another definition of obesity are both labels for ranges of weight that are greater than what is generally considered healthy for a given height. The terms also identify ranges of weight that have been shown to increase the likelihood of certain diseases and
