Object can sembolize emotions of people. Symbols are objects that imply something or emotion. Especially some important objects symbolize the love and sense of him or her. Objects can function as messages between people. This is a kind of communication between the people. Ring and handkerchief as a symbol to show emotions especially love. Objects symbolize the emotion between people as well: When Olivia wants to let Cesario know that she loves him; she sends him a ring by way of Malvolio. Later, when she mistakes Sebastian for Cesario, she gives him a precious pearl. In each case, the jewel serves as a token of her love—a physical symbol of her romantic attachment to a man who is really a woman. The gifts are more than symbols, though. “Youth is bought more oft than begged or borrowed,” Olivia says at one point, suggesting that the jewels are intended almost as bribes—that she means to buy Cesario’s love if she cannot win it (III.iv.3). As we see the Olivia sends a ring to Ceserio to imply her love. And it is a symbol in the play as well as she sends the ring by the way of Malvolio. The ring function is as message between them. The gifts symbolize her romantic attachment. In our culture especially in the past the handkerchief and headscarf symbolize the love. If a man love someone he sends her a handkerchief and İf girl accept she sends him a headscarf that symbolize the love between them. The symbols are an important way to show emotion. But they also send their gift by way of someone as Malvolio in the play. Olivia sends ring as a sign of her love and in our culture the youth send the handkerchief and headscarf to symbolize their emotion. And also in recent century this symbolize change and now the youth show their love by the way ring or other gifts. Objects an important symbol between people.
