Left or Right Hemisphere
Many people believe that your personality has much to do with the function in the left and right hemispheres of your brain. According to this theory left hemisphere people are more math, science, and logical. Where as right hemisphere people are English, history, and creative. However, these results are hard to conclude by because everyone's brain chemistry is different and so is every individual. According to the left brain/ right brain test given by testyourself.com I am equally harmonized in using both hemispheres of my brain. I receive a 54 out of 100. This means that both sides of brain work together and "[My] spontaneous, impulsive, and free-flowing right brain creates an exciting and adventurous world, while you left brain helps you make sense of it and keep track of everything." Of course with my personality of always trying to be perfect this would make total sense. However, You should always test theories different times to see how your results hold. On the other two tests, from homeworktips.com and intelliscript.net, I was given the result of a right brained person. They both said that my right hemisphere dominates. This means that my "feelings run deep, and it shows. You have strong instincts, and you solve problems on hunches and feelings. You are artistic in some way. You can believe in things based on experience, without seeing scientific proof." Now that we saw what the tests say let's see what science says. Each hemisphere houses a different function according to what are senses perceive. Even though we have a dominant hand, eye and foot we may have a dominant hemisphere but not one is completely one sided. We have cooperation between both hemispheres with the corpus callosum(text). The right hemisphere focuses more on emotions and patterns where as the left hemisphere focuses on spatial awareness and details.
