Mr. Trump’s detachment from the political establishment is also appealing to those that are tired of the status quo, believing nothing will change. Another Ph.D. student in Political Science and supporter says he likes how Trump is “punishing” the Republican Party, who he feels has “abandoned conservative principles in favor

They do not personally like him or agree with everything he has said, nor do they share his prejudices. They have acknowledged that many of his ideas are dangerous, and recognize his lack of experience in public office. Although it is believed that his lack of political experience could be an asset, while allowing him to appoint the "very best people" to advise him. However, their concerns are outweighed by the belief that something has to change, and that there’s no better alternative than electing Trump as President.
There is a clear paradox when it comes to Donald Trump. His bullying, awful comments, and antics are deflecting away from serious issues that could help, as his slogan states “Make America Great Again” but instead is making our political process more of a circus.
Donald Trump has problems with connecting with several groups of people. His public image is tainted for his bigotry, inciting violence at his rallies, lack of respect for Women, (comments made about Megyn Kelly), Mexicans who he called rapists and Muslims who he wants to deport. In Charles Blow’s “Failing All Tests of the Presidency” (2017) he asserts his opinion that Trump is not acting as a true president and he is merely holding a place for an actual president to arrive and replace him. Blow communicates this by saying “Donald Trump is a man of flawed character and a moral cavity,” and “His interests center on the self; country be damned.” He exaggerates all of Trump’s flaws without regard to the truth that, maybe he has done something good while in office. He does this in attempts to force his hatred of Donald Trump onto others that might already not support him. Charles Blow employs his hatred of Trump and writes very controversial articles to everyone who is indifferent or not in support of Donald Trump.…

On June 16th at his very own Trump Tower in New York City, Donald Trump announced that he would be running for president. It was only thirty seconds into his speech when Trump committed his first fallacy. In an attempt to insult the intelligence of his fellow GOP candidates, he compared their incompetence toward air conditioners to their supposed inability to beat ISIS. “They didn’t know the air-conditioner didn’t work,” “How are they going to beat ISIS?” This is a bad example fallacy due to his use of an example that fails to prove the conclusion and has little connection to it. Despite the complete lack of relation between Trump’s example and his conclusion, he was still able to provoke the audience into feelings of contempt toward the other…

“We need a leader , not a creeper tweeter!” This was one of the many chants that roared through the streets of Washington , just one day after Donald Trump’s inauguration. I can still remember the hazy morning and the fog covering the top of the Washington Monument. As I looked around I could see all the proud men and women chanting and marching as they throw their fists and signs in the air. The day after the inauguration thousands were in dismay that Donald Trump was actually the president. The person who would be controlling the country for four years or more. People wanted to voice their opinions but they didn’t know how to. So they decided a march would be the perfect way to show how they felt. Teresa Shook made a Facebook Event Page calling for a march in Washington, the next day she had over 100,000 responses. Teresa stated, “I didn’t think the page would get this much attention.” She couldn’t believe it . Throughout the years, many people have struggled to have the…

Since the beginning of his campaign he targeted people from certain ethnicities like Muslims; who he said should be banned from entering to U.S territory, this after all the terrorist attacks. Another ethnicity was Mexicans; who were labeled as rapists and drug dealers, this comment in particularly didn’t affected me much for the fact that nether me or my entire family has ever been related to none of “his labels” but it’s not so pleasant to heard that. He attacked woman, and disable people, I’m a woman and I have a disable niece, so definitely not my favorite. The reason why many people likes him is because he has high standards and citizens believe he would do the same for this country, he promised the famous wall that many candidates promis in every election year, he is a successful business man and people believe he can help the U.S get out from debt, and supposedly because he speaks the truth. Americans wanted something different and they had and have faith on…
