revenge in upper egypt
There is a story about a man who used to live in upper Egypt then he left and came to work here in cairo and in a specific holiday he went back to his home in upper
Egypt to find out that his house is set to fire also his car is broken and his brother is dead then he discovered the reason behind it his father killed someone from the other family and other family took revenge by killing his father and his brother. Who has the right to kill an innocent person just because he is a member of the other family , Revenge is ugly and horrible more than you can imagine it creates wars , crimes , vendettas. Revenge appeared in the old age before even Islam arrives so people got used to take their right by their own hand because they were not guided to the right path. Revenge was part of their morals and traditions till it developed and became a must in upper Egypt because if they didn’t take revenge they will face a lot of problems. Although some people think that revenge is an honorable thing to do in fact it's pointless because it contradicts with all the religions and the legal system of Egypt and it affects the whole society and people psychology.

Why would the opponents seek and always want to take revenge?.
They think that taking revenge is transforming shame into pride and complete satisfaction. The feeling of weakness comes to them when they feel Ashamed of themselves when they live without taking their revenge.
These feeling of helpless might result in low self esteem and identity crisis
"(Mr farouk radwan, Why do people seek revenge)"
However the opposite is the exacts true It's a shame to kill someone not a pride . when one murder someone the law will punish him so at the end he wont get anything except shame to himself and to his family when he is left in prison. When the law gets their right they don’t feel complete satisfaction but when they get it by their own hand they feel satisfied. A good example of violence and revenge is in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet - Scene I.ii 40 – 74 when Sampson and Gregory of the House of Capulet are walking down the street when they are insulted by Balthasar and Abraham of the House of Montague after Balthasar bites his thumb at them. This starts a fight that the Prince and the Lords of the Capulets and the Montagues get involved in. No one is killed but the attitude towards each other is much worse than before. In Romeo and Juliet’s time, biting of the thumb is a gesture that could provoke violence. Today gesturing with the wrong finger could be enough to provoke violence among rivals. The reason for the reaction between the two groups was a long standing feud. It’s never really clear why the two families are feuding whether it was over power or money. It was clear that they each distrusted each other and felt superior to each other. Each act of violence led to revenge.…

“I knew I would have my revenge someday” as Mike Murphy one stated. This clearly illustrates in Edgar Allan Poe's short story, “The Cask of Amontillado,” as he introduces, Montresor taking revenge on Fortunato that happened fifty years ago. Fortunato insulted Montresor. Because of this, Montresor feels a duty to seek revenge on Fortunato. Yes, I think individuals are justified into their own hands, but perhaps it depends on what the case might be. I think in this story revenge is depicted because Montresor takes justice into his own hands. In today’s life people take things really seriously and get upset over it, meaning they go and seek revenge by harming the person that wronged them in a agonizing and hurtful manner. This is mean because…

Revenge. Revenge is something that has been around since the beginning of time. In the bible, Cain killed his brother Abel because God preferred Abel’s sacrifice over Cain’s. Aaron Burr shot Alexander Hamilton because Hamilton got Burr to lose the election of 1800. On the other hand you have memes. These memes have been around since the early days of the internet and have been rising to an all time popularity. It’s what gives this generation a good hearted laugh. Though it is also used by kids with depression to help them cope through humor and to give them a light-hearted chuckle.. Although memes and the idea of revenge seem to be two very different topics, they have similarities that make you question what else you can find similarities in.…

Revenge is a word that changes futures, hopes, and dreams, a nasty, demeaning, degrading, and downright evil! Many people say that it is a dish best served cold, but I think that it is best served any way you want! Taking revenge is a bitter sweet thing. The Old Testament "an eye for an eye" (cf. Exodus 21:24) validates the concept of proportionate revenge and according to me if you are taking revenge, at least burst that eye properly.…

The glory of ancient civilizations is observable through the expansion of territory, cultural influence, and, most importantly, art production. The greatness of a civilization is easily measured by the quantity and quality of its art production. Over the course of history there have been many similarities between seemingly different cultures, and the most striking evidence to support this are the artifacts which remain to this day. Arguably, one of the most important civilizations in the world's history is Ancient Egypt, which greatly impacted many cultures and their art production. The ancient civilization of Etruria was one of the myriad of cultures influenced by Egypt; however, much of the knowledge of Etruscan culture is unknown. The Etruscan…
